There are so many horror stories about purchasing a car that it sent me to research until there was no more room to retain any more information. Luis was attentive by responding and checking up to see if the interest for a Volvo was still alive without feeling any pressure. Once our decision to get a Volvo was made, Luis still kept in contact in a timely fashion; never too soon and never too late -- right on time. Luis' calm, friendly sounding voice when leaving his message was the beginning factor to do business at Volvo Cars of Manhattan dealership. From start to finish, we had a pleasant experience at this dealership. What I appreciated the most that Luis gave was his willingness to deal with me via telephone, text and email; it made the process easy and at a pace comfortable for us. I told Luis that we do not window shop because it is a tease and that we come to purchase; the car was chosen, paperwork completed and by the end of the week the agreement was signed and sealed; the key fobs to a brand new 2017 XC60 Inscription was handed over to us. We are a down-to-earth family; Luis and Amir were also down-to-earth adding to the business experience personality and friendliness. Volvo Cars of Manhattan was clean, airy, a welcoming front desk Assistant, friendly staff, a comfortable waiting area, snacks and drinks for their customers -- it was an inviting place. Not every dealership and dealer works for everyone but this shoe fitted perfectly for us. Thank you Luis for your professionalism, friendliness, funny personality, and working a deal that suited our family -- it worked for me and we had a great experience with you. Amir, thank you because usually in the Finance Department one tends to walk away with all sorts of things not wanted but pressured to purchase. We never felt that when dealing with you in your department. P.S. I parked too too too too close to the curb and I immediately moved it but said "ahhh it's covered -- LOL." I scheduled an appointment online and I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who welcomed me in and introduced me to Keisha, the sales specialist. Apart from being hospitable, I felt that she was thorough with no questions being too small. Amir Sari, who handles finance, was a pleasure to work with and closed the deal without any issues. I also never felt any pressure from them to add on car perks & packages, but they informed me about them, and the services I would be entitled to. My car was hand delivered by Keisha in 2 days, but the best part was her full orientation in my driveway to make sure that I was fully knowledgeable about the functions in my vehicle! She also followed up to see how I was getting along. I would highly recommend Keisha and Volvo Cars of Manhattan, they sincerely aim to please their clients! -F. Presner More

Horrible experience and waste of time I am not really sure how this dealership has high ratings, maybe we just had the unfortunate luck to experience the B-team the day we had our appt. Nonetheless, I was referred to this dealership through the Costco Auto Program which I hear is highly recommended and respected. I scheduled my appt. with Emily Couture to meet with Mike Dillon at 1:30PM Saturday Jan. 14th. I was told my Emily that there would be parking available when I arrived or that someone from the dealership would take care of the parking while I am visiting the dealership, since my wife is pregnant, it was going to snow, and we are driving in from NJ this was very important. I arrived in front of the dealership about 20 minutes early and I look into the reception desk to see the receptionist and another staff member playing a "tickle" game of some sort, pretty unprofessional but whatever. I called in introduced myself, mentioned the Costco Auto program referral, and who I was to meet with. I ask about the parking and was told that it was Saturday and that we would need to find parking on the street (would have been nice to know that when i scheduled). Took 20-30 minutes to find parking at a meter which we paid for two hours. We walk into the dealership and speak to the receptionist and tell her that we are there to see Mike Dillon for an appt. Receptionist tells us that Mike Dillon is the manager and they use his name for all appts and that we wouldn't really be meeting with him and that a salesperson would be helping us shortly. Strange scheduling practice but didn't think anything of it. We proceed to look around at the cars while we wait, some time goes by, 20 minutes, 40 minutes, still not a single inkling of acknowledgement from anyone at the dealership. At this time we see that the WHOLE place is having lunch in one of the offices in the back which is pretty much just 10-15 feet from us and still not a single mention of someone coming to help us. No receptionist in the front, one guy is pushing a co-worker on an office chair to the lunch powwow and "rolls" the chair right in front us as we stand there just waiting. It has now been an hour since we got there and no word, or even eye contact from the staff so we pretty much just walked out, staff probably didn't even notice we left, wonder what they had for lunch must have been amazing. We still had time on our overpriced meter so we decided to check out Audi. What a difference! Night and day! We sit in the Q7 and within 10 minutes of entering are asked by Levani if we are being helped or if we need any help. Yes please! We proceed to tell him how much of a waste the day has been and are assured that he would help salvage. Levani has me bring our car into their garage so we don't have to worry about going over the meter, and are offered a test drive of the Q7. Of course why not! Wonderful car that we weren't considering prior to our visit but now are considering making a deal on. This is what service should look like, no pressure to buy just that spark of interest in ones product and great first impression. I am shocked at the un-professionalism at Volvo Cars of Manhattan, this was the worst representation of the Volvo brand and Costco Auto Program. I really hope the dealership reads this and someone at the top gets in contact with me I would be happy to explain everything to them. More

I picked up my new car two days later with a minimum of effort on my part. Steve was very friendly, informed and responsive. He made it totally clear that I could contact him with any problems or questions (which I have done with very prompt and helpful responses). I felt like I got very personalized attention and feel very secure with my new car and dealership. More
