Having been in this world a couple decades (6), I’ve bought a few cars in my life. In fact I love cars!! Typically buy a new one every 3-4 years. My initial contact with Chris was March 2024, today I took delivery of my new Volvo. During the entire five months, he called me back, texted me back, answered every single question I had in a very timely manner!! I’ve never owned a Volvo, and I can tell you I will be buying another one. People buy from people they like! We bought a CPO XC90, and our salesperson MJ and the team were low friction. We knew what we wanted and they worked with us to make it smooth. So the sales process was great. My complaint is that they didn’t do a great job of cleaning and detailing the car either before or after the sale. While they did clean at our request, it wasn’t enough. There were still areas left they could have easily cleaned but just didn’t. A bit more effort would have left us feeling like we had a new car, versus more of a giving up “oh well we’ll just clean it ourselves”. We were already Volvo owners, and it’s a similar problem with the loaner cars they’ve give us. They’re always dirty inside, two in a row that weee dirtier than my car has ever been. If I contrast it with my BMW loaner experience where they’re always immaculate, and you almost feel like you’re part of a club, it’s definitely an area where this Volvo dealer could step things up. It was a surreal experience learning all of the new tech (my car was about 8 years old with very few upgrades) but she was patient enough to go through all of the various features of the 2024 XC60 Recharge I ended up getting. I financed with Brooke who went over all the care packages and other nitty gritty details before I was able to drive my new car off the lot! The manager, Shannon, was there throughout the process making sure everything went smoothly and was very hospitable throughout the car buying process. I don't particularly enjoy shopping for a new car, but the staff that took care of me made it such a seamless experience, i'll make sure i come back for my next new car! More

She was completely honest with me, and understanding of my situation. Most importantly, she wasn’t pushy at all. She helped me choose between the XC40 and XC60 models. Let me play will all the bells and whistles and test drive both to see what made the most sense for my family. Shannon, the manager, was also absolutely phenomenal. A total powerhouse, she ran a busy Saturday seamlessly, making sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. After meeting with Brooke, the finance manager, we signed the paperwork and I drove away in my brand new XC40! If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, go see the Linda and Shannon at Volvo Austin.
