Dropped in late on a Saturday (rained most of the day) and George was most accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about our Seashell 2015 V60 Platinum/BLIS/wood. Had the deal closed on Monday and drove the car home. My buddy described the color as "liquid platinum" which is better than I could have done. Hume greeted us at the door and was extremely attentive, but not too overbearing, throughout our visit to look at the Volvo C70. Sold me a 2012 S60 car as "one owner with a clean carfax" with no wrecks when in fact the car came from an auction and the rear driver's side door had been repainted. Called immediately. The sales manager first denied the door had been repainted. Drove back to Tampa because the sales manager said they would try to make it good and he then measured the paint thickness which confirmed my suspicions. Then the sales manager emphatically denied prior knowledge of the repaint. I offered for them to either replace the vehicle with one without after market body work. He then offered to take the vehicle back on trade for $2000.00 less than I paid 2 days earlier. Then tried to leverage me up to a higher priced deal because they did not have a comparable vehicle. Had to threaten to sue them and then they got the smarmy Owner/general manager involved. The management and sales staff attempted to bully me into living with the deal, and became very hostile toward me because I dared to suggest the deal was not on the up and up. Ultimately they canceled the deal, but refused to give me all my money back and I had to stop payment on my personal check for the balance. Then had to carry my personal belongings across Dale Mabry Blvd to rent a car to drive home. Cost me 2 days of work, the cost of stopping payment of the check, and over 100.00 in rental care fees. I intend to sue them, and will update this post as the process unfolds. More

What I love most about this dealership is that the sales people aren't manipulative or trying to play games, there is literally NO pressure to purchase a vehicle, and the staff is incredibly resourceful. I am now driving my second Volvo XC60 (because I wouldn't trust another car to transport my 1 year old) and my Mom has just purchased her first Volvo because of hearing about my wonderful experiences with this team. Even if you aren't sure you're interested in buying a Volvo specifically, please pay this dealership a visit just to get a feel of how customers are supposed to be treated when purchasing a car.
