John was extremely helpful. I bought the XC60 a few days before pandemic lockdown so I had many questions about the car and the impact of using it far less than anyone could have expected. Over the years since I purchased a "pre-owned" car in 2014. The car had an erroneous # of miles on the "100 check point" - around 53000 miles. I get my vehicle maintained. Every time I take it in for maintenance, I ask that anything that has to be done to the car, please do it. The other day when I got the paper with "what you should do" was odd. I called to ask a few questions about the suggestions. I was told that I had never got the 20, 30, 40, etc. maintenance so now I need over $1700 worth of things to be done. How the heck could I do those maintenance requests? I got the car with over $50,000 miles. I'm confused - shouldn't that 100 point check before I bought the car show what wasn't done, as well as what needed to be done. I never heard anything from 2014 when I bought the car to the last maintenance of a couple of weeks ago. Right now my vehicle has approximately 61,000 miles. That's not much mileage since i bought it in 2014 - 2020. I'm upset because the cost is well-over what I can afford. I did, however, make an appointment for September to have at least a good portion of the work done. It wasn't my responsibility to have things done in 2012, 2013, 2014 - those years whoever owned the car put on around $52,000 miles and apparently didn't do much if any maintenance. I still think this should have showed up on the 100 point check up. I feel a little hoodwinked but the car has been pretty good and I'm not unhappy with it. Thank you. More
Great work has been done on my vehicle and they give me sound advises and respect my decision on what to do and what not to do (plan to do in the future). The service dept did a very nice job greeting me and taking care of my 10,000 update. When it looked to take a little longer, they graciously shuttled me to the mall. taking care of my 10,000 update. When it looked to take a little longer, they graciously shuttled me to the mall. More
In my previous visit I received a quote for $1200 to repair my air conditioner. So I brought it back to be fixed and they told me it would actually cost $2000 after I dropped the car off because the com repair my air conditioner. So I brought it back to be fixed and they told me it would actually cost $2000 after I dropped the car off because the compressor and condenser were both broken. I wish they would have given me an accurate estimate from the beginning since I had no choice but to fix both once the car was there. I might not have chosen to fix the ac given the total cost. The estimate felt a little like a bait and switch. More
