As a young man, David J. Long Jr. always thought he would serve with the Peace Corps or become a teacher. But with the promise of a good job with Ford Motor Company during college Long refocused his vision into growing a successful business while helping to improve the lives of others in his Princeton area community.
Health care, safety and children are at the forefront of the causes and organizations to which Long and his family devote their time, energy and money. Long, who owns three Volvo dealerships in and around Princeton, is a rallying force in the community, serving on boards and donating time, cars and money to various programs and projects.
"We're not in it for the glory,” Long said. “But what we do, what we give - it makes a difference.”

SHADY business practices I have never been compelled to leave a review, but the business practices at Volvo Cars Princeton (2931 Brunswick Pike) are unimaginable. Eileen Amato I have never been compelled to leave a review, but the business practices at Volvo Cars Princeton (2931 Brunswick Pike) are unimaginable. Eileen Amato and her manager are dishonorable. No one ever accused a car salesperson of being honest, but I've also never witnessed such blatant shady tactics in an effort to score a sale. In my years of buying and selling cars working with various dealerships up and down both coasts (from Acura to BMW to Toyota in MD, PA, NJ, NY, CA, WA, etc), I have never experienced the level of disservice as I have by Volvo Cars Princeton. To make matters worse, they charge over KBB. You'd think with the extra cash flow there'd be better service and they'd be able to afford more honorable staff. I'll be sure to tell friends and family in NJ and beyond to avoid Volvo Cars Princeton. More
