I went to the dealer in response to their promo on 2009 cars with extended service agreements. Lolita Cook in sales greeted me and we discussed my options for a new lease. I wanted to downsize from my S60 and we looked at S40s. Lolita is very knowledgable and made the process very easy. She was with me through the issue of securing financing and assisted me in every way possible. This is my third leased Volvo from this dealer. I will continue to deal with them because of people like Lolita Cook. Also they have an "Outsatanding" Service Dept. especially John Koralus. I have told my friends that I continue to deal with this company because they do not just sell you a car and leave you out there, you become like a part of the Volvo of Lisle family. They know me they know my cars and I always feel comfortable going into their facility. More

I went in for a $19.95 Oil Change. They had found a TieRod loose. They brought me back to the shop to show me (like the old days). In a time were money is tight and poeple are feeling very weary of spending money, Robert Warren worked with to get me to a place where I felt comfortable about my payment and the money I was about to spend. weary of spending money, Robert Warren worked with to get me to a place where I felt comfortable about my payment and the money I was about to spend. This was my third visit to see Robert about a Volvo not because we could not get a deal done but because he wanted to find me just the right car. I was never pressure to purchase a car and was honestly advise on each car I looked at and he even weighed the pro and cons of each car to what I was trading in and what I would now be spending. After each visit, I left even more deterimned that this was the only dealership I need to be working with. 3 times is a charm! On my third visit to Robert, I found what I feel was the prefect car. Not only did it have everything I wanted at a price I could afford but Robert was able to still work with pricing to make the deal even better. I am 40 and never seen a dealer do that! Then we meet with Tom Schultz the manager and worked on the financing of the car. Just running figures at first Tom gave a very good proposal. As Tom worked on the fianlization of the deal which was taking quit some time, my husband had a bad feeling. He thought they were going to do a bait and switch. You know... higher rate, more down payment and low and behold Robert walked out of Tom's office and said I am sorry it is taking so long but... I could tell my husband was ready for the "but" and Robert said Tom was shopping your rate and was able to get a lower rate then we originally discussed. I thought my husband was going to fall of his chair. It was almost a whole point lower, making my payment even lower then what was origanally porposed. I almost jumped out of my skin with excitment!!!! In the end, Tom himself sat down with my husband and I and walked us through all the financials with Robert right there. I actually saw my husband's demeanor change from very defensive to very relaxed and postive. The more Tom and Robert walked us through the signing of the papers we both felt extremely good about our purchase. Both Robert and Tom could not have been any friendier and Robert REALLY listen to what I wanted and what I could afford!!!! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. It was truly a pleasant expreience in a very troubled time! I actually can not say enough about the kindness of Robert and he honesty! More
They always try to find extras to charge for. You bring in your vehicle for one simple fix and something major is ALWAYS wrong. Unfortunately I've found that they tend to fix the wrong problem. After having a new muffler installed I asked for a new chrome trim end. There had been one on my old muffler which they didn't want to use even though it was perfectly fine. I was told it would be $165 to install this piece, so I went to the parts department and purchased a new one for $20 pushed it on the end of my new muffler went home and screwed it on tight. It only had one screw to help tighten it up and took about 5 seconds to do. More

I have bought five cars at this dealership. The sales process literally takes only minutes. No haggling. The service department is nothing short of outstanding. I have never had to go back because a repair was not done properly. More importantly, the integrity of the service department is beyond reproach. I always feel as if the only thing that matters is whether or not I am going to leave the service department feeling as if I received nothing short of honest and excellent service. I have never bought a part for any of my cars other than at the Volvo of Lisle dealership. This includes "generic" items such as headlights and tires. This is a great place to buy a car from and a great place to have your car serviced at. More
This dealer is by far the best Volvo dealer I have ever been to. I would not go anywhere else. Worked with Bob Makowka when I was looking for a certified S40. They had several in stock and we quickly came to a price that was actually right off the bat lower than two other dealerships. I did certified S40. They had several in stock and we quickly came to a price that was actually right off the bat lower than two other dealerships. I did a bit of haggling and was out of there in under and hour and a half. About 6 months after the sale I had a wierd issue where the car wouldn't start. Completely dead even after replacing the battery. Apparently it was a simple fuse that had blown. I called volvo and the car was towed to their location. They arranged for a loaner and called later the next day to let me know everything was fixed. When I came in, a tech came out and showed me where the fuses were in case it happened again. Great sales and great service. More
Took car in because 'Check Engine' light came on. I was told told after sitting in waiting area for 3 hours that pads on brakes needed to be replaced. They gave me an estimate and made it a point to let me know that they usually estimate low. Well they estimated about $500 low. Two days later the 'Check Engine' light came on again. I had to drive it back to Lisle, IL which is about an hour from my home. They told me that they would have to remove the gas tank to see what the problem was and that alone would take 4 mechanics. I got in my car and left. i took it to a mechanic that I had used before I purchased the volvo. He laughed and told me that 1, maybe 2 mechanics could remove a gas tank. I called lisle Volvo many, many times to voice my complaints and they pretty much kept telling me that I needed to bring the car in for them to understand what the problem was. I will NEVER go to them again for anything and tell anyone who asks about my experience. More
