With a Volvo dealer less than 5 miles from our home, we chose to do business with Volvo of Lisle instead. We're very happy that we did! Tom Schulz and John Taylor were extremely informative and never gave chose to do business with Volvo of Lisle instead. We're very happy that we did! Tom Schulz and John Taylor were extremely informative and never gave us the "high pressure" sales pitch. We walked in knowing what we wanted and John found it for us. This is our second Volvo new car purchase and this transaction was smooth from start to finish, quite unlike our other experience at our neighborhood dealer. This service department is a joke. There is always more problems with my car after I receive service. There was even a scratch on the side of my car that nobody told me about. Volvo was hoping I would dr problems with my car after I receive service. There was even a scratch on the side of my car that nobody told me about. Volvo was hoping I would drive away so they wouldn't have to fix their carelessness. They will do anything not to replace warranty items. Expect long waits and lazy, bare minimum service. In fact, when I had a series of problems, the service manager would not even talk to us. he sent his assistant. We had to go over his head to get our warranty item replaced. The only words that accurately describe this service dept. are LIARS and THIEVES. Save the headache and buy your Volvo anywhere else than Volvo of lisle. More
first time in awhile since working with tim..did a great job for me and i expect the same each time in the future. i feel very strongly that we will be able to communicate quite well and experience little job for me and i expect the same each time in the future. i feel very strongly that we will be able to communicate quite well and experience little trouble in having volvo of lisle meet my expectations at every turn. that has happened many times in the past and they will not be able to do anything less in the future. it all starts with a solid relationship with advisor/customer at the outset and i have experienced just that in the past and will not settle for anything less in the future. this dealership is more than qualified to do the same and it is up to all customers to be able to help make this teamwork succeed...not always that easy to do however. looking forward to seeing tim and the gang again soon to keep the xc70 on the go....keep up the good work and hope there are many more stories like mine on the books....so long for now and cheerio..... Took my Volvo in for scheduled free maintenance and also got a interior/exterior detailing. Everyone was friendly and helpful and after the detailing, my car was actually gleaming, it looked fantastic. I got a interior/exterior detailing. I came for oil change and replacement of indicator light on the gear selector box. Both were done satrisfactorily. However I was a bit unprepared for the unexpected cost of the bulb replacement when the bi on the gear selector box. Both were done satrisfactorily. Other than that everything was ok. John also showed me why I need to fix the engine block anchor on my car. More
