WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM HUDSON VALLEY VOLVO. I purchased a certified pre owned from this dealer, after 1 year it started burning so much oil I had to bring it back to them for inspection. I have I purchased a certified pre owned from this dealer, after 1 year it started burning so much oil I had to bring it back to them for inspection. I have documentation stating they found a common issue in that model car- bad piston rings in the engine- and that the repair would be covered under Volvo warranty. After months of waiting for the parts to come in I finally leave them my car and as I’m about to leave in the loaner vehicle I am stopped by the service manager Dan and told this repair can’t be done yet we need your service records etc. I gather all my service records and come back only to be told “Volvo doesn’t do that repair anymore just put thicker oil in it”. Flash forward and my engine is destroyed. This Volvo dealer and Volvo corporate refuse to do anything. More
