We had been looking for a used Volvo XC90 for a couple of months and came across one that had what we were looking for. We inquired to see if it was still available, seeing we would be making a three hour drive on New Years Eve. Jordan Smith contacted us shortly there after and said that it was still available. Later that afternoon Jordon let us know that someone was looking at it later that evening and let us know that it was possible that it could be sold. We let him know that there were a couple others that we had seen on their website and planned to leave in the morning regardless. The next morning Jordan emailed us to let us know it was still available along with a the other vehicles we saw. After test driving a couple of them we bought the vehicle we originally inquired about. It was great not feeling pressured at a dealership for a change. I would highly recommend Jordan and this dealership!!! More

My first and last purchase here I really hate having to write this review....however want to inform others of my experience buying a Volvo here. After being in a wreck and my Lexus R I really hate having to write this review....however want to inform others of my experience buying a Volvo here. After being in a wreck and my Lexus RX350 being totaled and a concussion I purchased a Volvo S60 from the used lot. I added a extended warranty 7 years 100,000 miles. The car was a 2013 with 26k miles on it. I noticed the wiper fluid was empty so after three trips of filling it up and it still being empty they discovered the problem was a hole in the hose. The driver door sensor didn't work to lock or unlock the door.. They ordered another handle/ sensor... ......that window has a whistling sound so the seals had to be replaced because they didn't fit the frame according to the Astorg Volvo mechanics work order notes. The car had to be towed in because of low coolant in the radiator. On inspection they said it was using oil. "We topoed it off but bring it in next week for the regular oil change" ...they said. During that visit the car was in the shop 7 weeks.....it had used a quart of oil in a week and 220 miles. They said the pistons ...and rings were replaced. I get a call the car's ready ...and ...... with in 24 of driving it out of the lot the "Check Engine " light comes on ... ...the first time this had ever happened. Astorg put it back in the shop another 2 weeks. I am making car 2 monthly payments on a car I can't drive.... ...they replace the solenoid....It is making poping and cracking noises when I get it back... ...they ...tell me it's normal. I had a loaner car and when its was in service I never called and complained how long was taking... but when they called me to say they car was ready I was threatened if I didn't bring their loaner back immediately to never be offered the valet loaner service again. They even forget to tell me for over a week that the car was done...I saved that voicemail.... I keep up with all regular maintenance because I paid for it up front when purchasing the car. Two weeks ago I drove to Barboursville and the "Low Oil Pressue" light comes on saying DO NOT DRIVE...at 9:45 p.m. 45 minutes from home I am on the side of the road in a car still under warranty ....we let it cool down pull the dip stick to discover the engine has zero oil in it. Not a drop on the dipstick... We run into a Target buy four quarts of synthetic 30 W and it goes half way up the dipstick. The car never even said it was hot or low on oil until it was empty. I am beyond disappointed in the lack of cooperation the dealership is offering to replace this defective car ...they want me to "bring it in every 100 miles to check the oil" this is unacceptable...They wont replace the car with one in working condition even though it only has 65k miles on it and under warranty...they sold me a lemon that was bought at an auction ......that I believe was wretched (hence the door/window/electrical problems) it has a Houston repair shop sticker inside the door with the bad sensor/handle..I an making $500 car payments on a car I am not safe to drive in as a single women this is just terrible. When I asked them to replace the car or buy it back they offered me less than the loan is or NADA book value for this exact vehicle in good condition. The car making knocking sounds and I have informed the service department who has not scheduled any appointment to fix it. I don't even get a call from them. Again it's still under warranty ......so if you are thinking about buying here.....I would not recommend it. I have spoken to the owner, ...the owner's son, service manager Roger Carte, Lee Bills and Volvo corporate to no avail.... the time, stress and amount inconvenience this purchase has brought me is tremendous. More
