Another Happy Volvo driver This is our fifth Volvo and the third we have purchased from Volvo Cape Cod. This s the first time that we actually ordered a new car (a XC60 T8 R-De This is our fifth Volvo and the third we have purchased from Volvo Cape Cod. This s the first time that we actually ordered a new car (a XC60 T8 R-Design) to our exact specs, and I am grateful for Derek and Harold's attention to our needs. We knew that there weren't many Volvo plug-in hybrids being sold yet, and we were also looking at a Tesla. But Derek did a great job helping us by finding an older XC90 PHEV that we could drive, as well as a new XC60 T6T, so that we were sold on staying with Volvo rather than switching to Tesla. Derek/Harold also were able to find a car on order at another dealership, so that instead of waiting 6+ months for the car, we were able to get it in less than 3. The car is exactly what we ordered/wanted, and is a joy to drive. The price was fair, and I look forward to continuing to work with these folks. BTW Olivia Nee really brightened up the time we spent waiting to talk with folks. More

First, a little context: since I'm a marketing guy, I totally appreciate consistency of experience when buying something that isn't price-rational. If I'm buying a gallon of milk, I don't give the experience a lot of thought. But if I'm buying a car, it's everything. I've had a Mercedes GLA 250 since I moved to the cape, and almost immediately the Hyannis dealership shut down. That means every time I'm due for service I have to go to Hanover. I saw the nagging "You're overdue for service" notice a couple of weeks ago, and decided to look around at other cars before spending $500 for service and inspection on a car I just wasn't in love with. As a Porsche superfan, my plan was to lease a Porsche Macan, and hopefully that would be my trojan horse into getting a Panamera in a few years (baby steps). But my wife and 5-year old went to the Porsche dealership, and we were treated like caffeinated rottweilers at a porcelain museum. And after sitting in the Macan in the showroom, I got a "hard no" from both. My wife showed me what was available at Volvo Cars Cape Cod, and I decided to give it a shot. The three of us went to the dealership, and we were immediately greeted by Olivia, who started talking to my 5-year-old daughter. Huge plus. And although they were short-handed, I was able to take a test drive within 15 minutes of walking through the door. Through a bizarre series of events not worth describing here, we went to the Plymouth dealership that evening so my wife could test drive the same model and we were able to go over numbers. Again, same experience: within half an hour, I had everything I needed. The next day I returned to the Hyannis dealership and signed off on a new vehicle lease. The following afternoon, I drove off the lot with a new car. Highlights: 1. They made it easy - No need to spend 8 hours at a dealership haggling with a rep who has to go back and forth with a sales manager. 2. They understand what matters - With a 5-year-old in tow, they knew that a quick conversation with her would go a long way. Additionally, they knew that we were on borrowed time and didn't try to keep us at the dealership. 3. They were efficient - While one person was explaining features, another was out getting plates. No single threading here. This is the 1st time I'm writing a dealer review proactively and without being asked. I highly recommend the team at Volvo Cars Cape Cod. For a jaded marketing guy that thinks everything is a sales tactic, I was genuinely impressed. More

The team at this dealership is unmatched in courtesy, professionalism and passion and commitment to their jobs. I have only written a few reviews in my time so I am very selective about who and when I do so. Mike was so responsive in his sales role and actively customized the experience to our needs. We walked in the door fully prepared to purchase a brand new Volvo but after touring the dealership lot with Mike, we decided to consider a pre-owned vehicle. After the extended test drive, we were convinced it was the right decision for us. Mike was very knowledgeable and informative about the myriad capabilities of the hybrid model and invested quality time ensuring our many questions were answered to our satisfaction. We typically dread buying a new car, but given our latest experience, we will definitely become long time customers of Volvo Cape Cod! Thank you again for your exemplary customer service! More
