I scheduled a service appointment a whole month in advance for them to not have a loaner vehicle for my recall service. I drove an hour for this appointment and all they can say is ole well. **STAY AWAY** This dealership is a joke. If no stars was an option, that is what I would give them. My wife and I purchased a "new" 2021 VW Atlas from Jeff Smith on July 23rd. We saw the car listed for s an option, that is what I would give them. My wife and I purchased a "new" 2021 VW Atlas from Jeff Smith on July 23rd. We saw the car listed for sale online and contacted the dealership about purchasing it before driving 2 and a half hours to finalize the deal. We negotiated through email, signed a buyers order and put down a deposit to hold the car until we could make the trip to pick up the car. The buyers order listed the car with only 8 miles on it. We were pumped! When we got to the dealership to pick up the car, it had 830 miles on it... big difference from 8 miles. When we asked why there was a difference, the guy said "I don't know, maybe we used it as a service loaner." We had just driven two and a half hours to find a car that was not really available anywhere else so we did not really have an option but to just go with it. We were not compensated in anyway. After finalizing everything, I again expressed how unhappy I was with the difference in miles since I signed a buyers order that listed the car with 8 miles on it. The salesman, Quinten, said he would find his manager to see what happened. Sales manager comes out and says "Oh, that was me. I took the car home to Columbus a couple times." He said it in a way that was insinuating it was no big deal because it was just him that drove it, as if that was supposed to bring us some sort of relief. It didn't. I know he was lying because he kept awkwardly fidgeting, his numbers of how far he drove it and the amount of times he drove it did not add up to the difference in miles. On top of that, there was two different girls cell phones paired to the car. He then told me it does not really affect anything, so what is the big deal... The big deal being our warranty is directly related to miles, so yes, you did affect it. By this time, we had been at the dealership for 4 hours, mostly because the sales guy told us we could pay the down payment with a debit card and turns out we could not, so I just wanted to get out of there. I wish this is where the nightmare ended, but it is not. Two days after having the car, my wife is driving with our three dogs back to our home in Mississippi, when a warning light came on telling her that the battery is not charging and to stop the car immediately. She stops and the car completely shuts down on her. She turns it off and back on and the notification goes away. She drives a few miles and is in the middle of the road when the car flashes the warning again and shuts down on her, not allowing her to steer or anything! She is finally able to get off the road and to a safe place but there is no air in the car, in the middle of the summer with our three dogs stranded. Long story short, the car was not able to be driven and had to be towed to a VW dealership to be repaired. Our "new" car stopped working in only 2 days... Jeff Smith dealership had nothing to say and did not help in any way. Lastly, I did not apply for financing through the dealership. I secured financing through my credit union and that was made known to the dealership from the very beginning. However, I got a notice in the mail today that Jeff Smith VW pulled my credit for a financing application. It even said "Thank you for submitting your recent application to us for vehicle financing." I never authorized them to do so, never submitted a financing application and never gave them my social so, I do not know how they did it. If you are considering buying a vehicle from this dealership, I would highly recommend you save your time and money. It is not worth it!! The entire back office are sneaky, mediocre, and the most typical car dealership employee you always dread when you walk into a dealership. It has been a few weeks now and we have yet to hear from Jeff Smith VW trying to make this situation right. We feel dumb for ever trusting this dealership. More
Andy Rennie was simply amazing. I live in Stuart Florida and bought my car from him In Georgia because he took such great care of me. He also had my car delivered here. The dealers here locally did nothing and bought my car from him In Georgia because he took such great care of me. He also had my car delivered here. The dealers here locally did nothing for me and tried to rip me off. Andy is the reason why I bought from Jeff Smith. More
Our sales rep (slim) was great. Very courteous and helpful. Can't say the same for the sales manager, besides a $899.00 doc fee he added another fee I never heard of for work he had done on the car f helpful. Can't say the same for the sales manager, besides a $899.00 doc fee he added another fee I never heard of for work he had done on the car for over $1100.00. He agreed to cut it in half. If it weren't for A fair price on the car I would have gone elsewhere. But $900 for the doc fee and whatever else they can throw into the mix? This is why I hate buying from dealers. More

It says a lot about a company to make an effort to do what’s right in a situation that goes wrong. I ordered a key for my vehicle about two weeks ago and was told it would be there within 1 to 2 days. A what’s right in a situation that goes wrong. I ordered a key for my vehicle about two weeks ago and was told it would be there within 1 to 2 days. A week later still no key, Alan the parts manager was completely apologetic and handled my complaints like a pro! I go to pick up my car and key this morning and with major regret on his face he tells me more bad news, they were sent the wrong key. I was beyond frustrated because I live about 50 miles from the dealership and had to pay a ride for the trip. Not only have they made me feel better about it all by handling it professionally, but they have exceeded my expectations. In this world today, customer service is hard to find. I’m a tough cookie and have high expectations because of being in sales myself. This company makes it right and more. Just giving credit where credit is due, I truly appreciate all you have done! More
