I found my 2018 Audi A4 online posted on TrueCar and the Streetsboro website. The next day I went to check it out. The trip took about 2hrs one way and I had brought my wife and mother along so that I might have someone to drive back if I got the new car. I had called ahead of time asking about the car and letting them know I would be headed that way. I was told the car would already be pulled around and ready for a test drive. Upon getting there the person I was told to talk to wasn't even available, so I ended up with another salesman. We went to his office, did the normal drivers license and insurance paperwork and waited for him to get the car ready (it wasn't ready like I had been told it would be). He came back, said all the the dealer plates were in use, then we waited for someone to get back from their test drive. It didn't take too long, but it was still an inconvenience. We were finally able to go out to the car and did not expect what we were greeted with. There was a huge crack in the windshield and the car didn't look like it had been washed. The interior was also filthy. What I'm assuming was dog hair in the back seat and then there was gunk on the center infotainment console controls. I was expecting a car that was fully ready to be taken home. Not something that looked like it shouldn't even be up for sale yet. They said it was a new arrival they had got off auction and all of these things would be taken care of before receiving the car. So we go on the test drive (horrible location to test drive, mostly straight roads) and the car handles like I was expecting (previous test drive exp), no noise, vibrations, ect. I'm was pleased with the car itself and their word to fix the windshield and detail the car, so I decided to buy it (had been looking for over 3 months for this model/trim). Go in to start the paperwork and this process is what you would expect. Wasn't too lengthy but still a good bit of time spent waiting around for approvals and whatnot. I made sure to remind the salesman of getting the car detailed as well as getting a replacement for a missing cigarette lighter cover during this time. Also talk about getting the car delivered to my home since I was expecting to take it home with me that day, but it was not ready. He tells me it will all be taken care of and that they will deliver the car right to my home. We finish all the paperwork and financing, pack up and head home. I had bought the car on Saturday and was told it would only take 2-3days to receive the car. I did not receive any call, text or email from the dealer or salesman letting me know when they would be sending it my way. I had to call them on Thursday to inquire when I would be getting my car. My salesman said they would drive it over the next day and asked when a good time would be for them to arrive. I said I work 3rd shift so in the morning before noon would be best. They didn't show up until 2-3pm that day with the car. When they finally did show up all the joy and expectations of a new car went out the door. The car was NOT detailed, it looked exactly like I test drove it other than the new windshield which still had some install stickers on it that should have been removed. The 2nd key fob was also nowhere to be seen (it was still at the dealer). The cigarette lighter cover I had asked for was also not included and there was no drivers manual included. So all my joy was gone and replaced with disappointment and almost anger at such simple requests not being filled that were asked about multiple times and told to be covered. It took two days after it was delivered to even get in touch with my salesman because he wasn't at work. He didn't contact me, I had to get a hold of him. There was no followup on his part or anyone at the dealer and hasn't been through the whole process up to now. Once I talked to him, he said the key fob and cigarette lighter cover would be mailed. There was no manual to be given, all he could offer was a .pdf link to one online (which I had already found). The detail would have to be brought all the way back up to the dealer to do, so I asked if they could reimburse me if I got it done locally. He said he would ask his manager and get back to me. Two or three days go by and still no word from him. I finally get a hold of him again and ask about it and still no answer from his manager. I'm told he will get back to me again. Well it's now two weeks later and I haven't heard anything at all from him or the dealer. I have given up on this place and hence the experience review. If you've made it reading this far then thanks. I know it was lengthy, but I wanted the whole story or most of it at least. The car itself is great and I did get a good deal on it, but the experience that this dealership and staff have provided was very subpar overall. If you want to buy from there, test drive at a different location, and make sure you are getting a great deal on the vehicle. More
I am from Buffalo NY and I would use this dealership over and over! Their staff was AMAZING.
