Like many people, I have serious reservations about bringing in a vehicle to be fixed. Poor experiences in the past at other service shops and dealerships have left me uneasy, unsatisfied, and occasionally upset. Upon the strong urging of a friend, I brought my VW Passat into Orland Park Volkswagen. It did not take long to realize that this service department was unlike any I have ever been to before. The employees were very friendly, knowledgeable, and most important to me, they were honest. The service manager, Ed, went out of his way to make sure I understood the issues my Passat was having and how his team will resolve them. He was genuinely concerned with my car and my satisfaction with the service. I could not be happier with the experience and I will only use Orland Park for any issues my car encounters in the future. I trust that I am recieving the best service,and never being over charged,or gouged for parts my VW doesn't need.I love VW's,and thanks to Ed and his staff I will continue to be a VW owner for years to come. Took my daughter's Beetle in for over-heating, fix the water pump, timing belt and thermostat. Picked up car, on the way home that evening temp light came back on. Called next day, they said it could have been and air pocket if nothing is leaking, fill it and keep an eye on it as you drive it. The next day it completely over-heated, team bellowing out, towed it in and they said it was engine damage due to over-heating (da!). The owner was very rude and wanted nothing to do with the possible over site. In litagation with BBB and States Att. The service department has had several of these complaints in past see reviews. The owner does not care about you once the sale is made beware other dealers want you will help, Joe will not! More

I took my car in for an oil change and they did something to trigger my engine light, then they told me I needed a thermostat and it cost me $1100 and the light came on again, only for me to learn that it wa to trigger my engine light, then they told me I needed a thermostat and it cost me $1100 and the light came on again, only for me to learn that it was never the thermostat which I told them to give me the old one when they replaced the new one and they said they forgot and threw it out, they are not to be trusted, scam artists at best, do not take your car here or you'll be sorry, Ed and Sean are shysters, More
