Loyal Customer turned sour Came here in 2012 and had a great experience. I leased a '13 Passat SE. Came back as a loyal customer and was not treated as such when I returned my c Came here in 2012 and had a great experience. I leased a '13 Passat SE. Came back as a loyal customer and was not treated as such when I returned my car and looked into leasing a new one. Turns out my '13 Passat had a recall on it, that no one informed me of until after I turned it in. Safety does not seem to be first. A man by the name of Richard Stephan was assisting me in pricing out a '16 Passat SE. He told me that Volkswagen of Orland Park is a haggle-free zone and that he was quoting me his best price. You can imagine how this played out. It a was definitely a haggle-zone as Stephan eventually chased after my car as I pulled out of the dealership and then repeatedly called me the next few days with different offers. It seemed as though he passed the baton to a representative named Kamila who eventually offered the price I originally wanted. -much haggling required. At this point I would rate my visit around 3 stars as this is pretty typical of any dealership you may go to anywhere in the US, it was what happened next that made me sick to my stomach. The Business Manager, Kelvin Mitchell, called me over the 4th of July weekend multiple times including twice on the 4th, a holiday. Kelvin wanted to change my lease contract from the agreed upon 12.000 miles to 10,000 miles per year. Yes, that is right he wanted to lower my lease mileage after a contract was already signed and the car signed over to me. To understand Kelvin wanted to change the contractI had to ask him multiple times what he wanted me to come in to the dealership for on a holiday weekend. He was not being direct with me and just kept instructing me that I needed to come in and resign. Luckily, I was not coerced into coming in by his tactics. He also blatantly lied to me that the contract said 10,000 miles which it says 12,000 miles. They turned a loyal customer sour at the hands of Kelvin and Richard. Most likely will not be staying in the Volkswagen brand after this lease is up. I also would not recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family. More
