I have had work done on two separate cars at Volkswagen of Orchard Park and really enjoyed the experience. They were very fair and kept me informed throughout the process. I never bothered to leave a review but I recently had a routine oil and filter change the other day. Everything went fine but I was curious about the mileage numbers based on a synthetic oil. They ended up calling me the next day just to see if I had any questions hand helped answer my question I had. I thought it was great they did a followup call just for an oil change. I have never had that before. More
I purchased a brand new GTi from Bob at the dealership who was great. Have gone there a few times for service with little hassle but this last time was horrible. When I explained that was how the car was sold to me the service manager kept giving excuses as to why they never put one on. When I asked for my salesman the sales manager came out and told me I was supposed to purchase the front bracket for $100. I told him I was never told anything about this and he stated they couldn't help me. Would have been nice to have been informed of this when I purchased the vehicle instead of when my inspection is up. After the run around they offered to drill holes and mangle my front bumper. I left and I was disgusted with the treatment I received. More

Spent time with the service manager after I was confused about conflicting reports on the error codes tripped after two separate diagnostic tests. Salesperson was not very knowledgeable about the car or incentives. They were unwilling to look around to other dealers for the specific color Jetta I wanted even after I found one at another dealer out o incentives. I offered to pay that rate and shipping but they never returned my calls or emails. I ended up ordering the car online and had it shipped to my house. Best experience ever. I saved money, even with $300 shipping costs. More
Long story short. Bought a brand new 2010 Routan, tranny was replaced at approx. 5000 miles,, Norm would not give me a rental vehicle comparable to my Routan, he said that he wasnt going to be inconvenieced was replaced at approx. 5000 miles,, Norm would not give me a rental vehicle comparable to my Routan, he said that he wasnt going to be inconvenieced with a bill of more than $30 per day that he would allow, I am pretty certain that I was the one who was being inconvenienced, I was given a mazda 5 to drive. Had a deer run into the side of me at the end of October and now it is January 18, 2011 and we are still trying to get it fixed right, we have rejected the work on this vehicle 4 times doors still dont close right, crease still in the door, trim still scratched, both doors rattle when you drive. I recieved a call from Norm that my van was done on a saturday, called could only get back there on tuesday and the vehicle actually had a paint chip out of the INSIDE of the door! All I can say is Unbelievable! Norm is a pompus xxx and doesnt care about customer service he has been caught in 3 lies to date and we just recently recieved a bill from Volkswagen for an EZ pass violation that happened on one of their vehicles 1 week after we returned their shuttle vehicle that they let us use while they were supposed to be repairing my vehicle. Do not go to this place. They are all rude and they lie! More
There are three Volkswagen dealerships in town and My wife and I visited all three. Together and separately, depending on our schedules. I received a quote from one dealership while my wife test-drove the same model at VW of Orchard Park. She was on her lunch hour and didn't have time to dance the dance with the salesman (who was rather disinterested anyway). Her mission was to simply drive the base model Jetta since I had done the test driving thus far. My wife and I were impressed with the car so I emailed the salesman using the address on his business card. In the email I stated that he gave my wife a test drive earlier in the day and we wanted to buy. I included the quote I received from the other dealer and asked if he could do better. After a day with no response, I decided to call the salesman to see if he had gotten my email. He actually denied having an email address. When I recited his email address from the very card he gave my wife, he then claimed "someone else is supposed to check his email" and put me on hold. Another character then picks up and says"Jason's with a customer (what am I!) I'll take your call". I explained the situation and asked for a quote to compare with dealer number one. He acted extremely put out, as if I just asked him to lend me fifty bucks. Finally he says, " Look, there's only a $400 profit margin on the base model so just buy it at another dealership." I say, "ok thanks for your..."..CLICK. I didn't even rate a "good-bye"! The nuts and bolts of what happened here aren't so bad. They simply didn't want to forego any of the profit to gain a customer. What is bad is how it transpired. A simple reply to my email declining my offer to compete for my business would have done the trick. Instead, I was made to feel unwanted as a customer since I only wanted the base model and not worthy of even common courtesy. If you go to this dealership and they treat you well,.. you can bet you just paid too much for your car. More
i had my passat wagon taken in to get a smashed winshield and window replaced. I took the car in and they only had the side window the first time the car was there for 3 days. I got the car back and the side window would not close tight. Finally the window came in and the car was there for almost a week. i asked for them to fix the side window that would not close, and when i got it back it was still making noise. I have a 30 min drive to autohaus so i wasnt going to go back again i went to northtown and they fixed it right away. I was a long term customer 4 cars and many referals... they just dont seem to care anymore!!! Dont go there! More
