I have heard the rumors about how horrible the service is at this location, but guess what I have experienced it for myself. I dropped my Volkswagon Toureg on a Monday, 04 April 2011@0934 am. It was dropped at this location, but guess what I have experienced it for myself. I dropped my Volkswagon Toureg on a Monday, 04 April 2011@0934 am. It was dropped off for an oil change and the airbag warning light was on. I had to call the service department on Tuesday, 05 April 2011@ 4:30p.m. to be told that my car was just being checked, I received a call @ 5:30p.m. and was told the oil change was completed but the wiring was burnt out for the airbag. I asked the service person to go ahead and fix the vehicle. I never received a call that night or the next day until I called the service department on Wednesday, 06 April 2011 @4:30 pm. I was told that the part for the airbag was not ordered and if they ordered it now, it would not be in until Thursday, 07 April 2011. I stated they have had my car for three days, they was suppose to order the part on Tuesday, but the part was not ordered. I told them I was coming to get my vehicle. This is not the end of the bad service. I drove my vehicle for two days when the coolant light came on in the dash board that stated stop the car immediately and check the coolant fluid. When I had a auto store to check the fluid because I could only make it off of the expressway. They stated they coolant fluid was wayyyyyyyy below the min requirement (I have photos), washer fluid was not filled. Remember at the beginning of the letter I stated I had and oil change where they are suppose to check and top off all fluids. I completed a complaint on their website, but no reply. Do anyone know how to get in contact with the owner of this dealership so I can inform him of the poor service at this dealership. Now I have to make an appointment to drop the same vehicle off at another dealership to complete the job that was not done. Ohhh they did charge me for putting the vehicle on the machine but did not complete the work. I still can not drive my Volkswagen Toureg until I get it to another dealership. More
These guys are some of the most dishonest people in the business. My experience trying to buy a used VW Jetta was awful. I have bought several brand new cars from these guys. But the manager they have ther business. My experience trying to buy a used VW Jetta was awful. I have bought several brand new cars from these guys. But the manager they have there.....Pete.....he tried to get one over on me..........twice. I bought a used VW Jetta wagon with a bad transmission. It seems they didnt catch that after putting it through their 128 point check. While trying to work that problem out and it that time the car got totaled. Eventually I went there and bought a brand new VW wagon. Well I needed a car for my company and thought maybe a VW would be good for the amount of miles we would be putting on it. Thats where the manager Pete comes in. He supposedly "Set" me up with the perfect VW Jetta. Well, it wasn't so perfect when I took it out and put my own analyzer on it and had my mechanic look at it. Pete had the nerve to tell me the thing ran tight and fully gone through with the 128 point check. It turned out there was multiple problems to fix and he knew about them. When I asked why he would do that to someone who has been such a good customer. He said "Thats why it's 4 grand man" with a big grin on his face. He knew I caught him and he acted like I was going to believe more of his lies. I know more about VW's than any of them people. I also know that I will never refer them to anyone ever agian. More

I purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. Why I thought my second experience would be better I have no idea. The first vehicle I bought was a used VW Jetta not a bad car. But Pete! was awful. He s thought my second experience would be better I have no idea. The first vehicle I bought was a used VW Jetta not a bad car. But Pete! was awful. He spoke to me as if we were back in the day where women were seen and not heard. I was totally turned off by him but through some persuasion from Olga and Rocco I hung in there. The second car I bought was a 2009 Mazda5. Ultimately the car had 3 bad rims, no jack, and no front license plate frame. Not to mention neither car received a thorough cleaning inside and out. I went back twice because I was promised a front license plate and jack. Both of which I had to come back for yet again. Not to mention I was told that the rims could be straightened and after a two hour wait the person that supposedly was going to do that work never showed. In addition the car needed a new rear bushing and thank God that was covered under factory warrantee. They also could not determine when the car had received an oil change so the second time back they gave me a free oil change. This was done in a shabby way also because when I took the car to a Mazda dealer the mechanic told me they used a glue type substance instead of the proper washer on the oil filter. The people here seem to make promises they don't keep. Once the paperwork is signed they could care less about whether or not you have good rims or a front license plate frame. I ended up having to purchase 4 brand new tires and rims!! I will never buy a car new or used from any Mike Haggerty dealership again!!! Nor would I recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy. Stay away from this dealership and ANY VW product. Corporate VW is as bad as the individual dealership, but that makes sense. They lie steal and cheat. They made me put in a new engine in a 3 year o Corporate VW is as bad as the individual dealership, but that makes sense. They lie steal and cheat. They made me put in a new engine in a 3 year old car. Lied to me about the number of oil changes I should have had. I actually missed 1, 2 years ago and they claimed I was off by 5. They have since recanted that but still made me responsible for the seized up engine. I subsequently find out that the turbo was blown and it had nothing to do with the amount of oil changes. Very bad experience. More
The people here are no help whatsoever. They dont even consider the fact that being a valued customer is what matters the most. The more you take your car in , the more problems they give you with the car consider the fact that being a valued customer is what matters the most. The more you take your car in , the more problems they give you with the car. For example, I took my car in for brakes. All of the sudden, I have fuel fumes coming from my vents. Then, two days later, my cars check engine light is flashing. All they could say is, "You're gonna have to get it towed in here for us to look at." Umm,excuse me, my car never had problems before and now all of the sudden my check engine light is flashing and "unsafe to drive"???!!!! Do not take your car here to this service center. They always give you the run around on everything and will never give you a straight answer. They always come up with additional problems, the most minute problems that are not even problems but all of the sudden mysteriously become problems. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Go to another dealer! Not this one! Oh and by the way, next time you call them, notice how you're always "on hold". More
Me and my husband purchased a new VW Jetta from this particular dealership. About a year later, we had trouble with the latch that keeps the trunk open. My husband took it in to the service shop so th particular dealership. About a year later, we had trouble with the latch that keeps the trunk open. My husband took it in to the service shop so that they could assess the damage. The service manager and the mechanics did EVERYTHING they could to NOT help. They even made him try to sign a pre-written statement saying that the defect was not there problem. My husband refused to sign 2 of the 3 statements because he disagreed with the verbage. He kept the copy that he did sign, which infuriated the service manager and the mechanics. They then verbally assaulted and tried to PHYSICALLY assault my husband. I called to complain about the poor service to the owner, Mike Haggerty. He acted as if nothing was wrong and literally said," Well, what do you want me to do?" That dealership hires nothing but imbeciles who are only out to screw people. If you are looking to buy a VW or any other type of vehicle, stay away from this dealership! Mike Haggerty needs to have his businesses shut down secondary to the poor services they provide! More
The salespeople at this dealership are horrible, to say it nicely. They are constantly lying to customers, promising things without any intention of following through. They do not return phone calls, and i it nicely. They are constantly lying to customers, promising things without any intention of following through. They do not return phone calls, and if you are able to speak to someone they just rush you off the phone. When I arrived to buy a specific vehicle they only would show my cars way above my price range. These people are filthy businessmen and do not deserve to have a job. More
This dealer was an absolute nightmare. my purchase experience was satisfactory but all customer service is terrible. service dept. is never able to duplicate a problem without a check engine light, a experience was satisfactory but all customer service is terrible. service dept. is never able to duplicate a problem without a check engine light, a loaner usually requires 2 weeks advance notice, employees can be very confrontational and/or act like you are bothering them. they somewhere along the line didn't grasp the concept that satisfied repeat customers is what makes the difference.
