If I could give VW of Huntington Service Center a 0/5 stars I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VW VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. Here’s my horror story: back in June I took my VW Tiguan in to get the dra stars I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VW VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. Here’s my horror story: back in June I took my VW Tiguan in to get the drainage tubes replaced (after calling no less than 15 times to schedule the appointment in the first place after the staff was unhelpful & irresponsive). When I got the car back I noticed pieces of plastic scattered throughout my car (in addition to the pile of sand which is besides the point). The plastic shards were a result of a broken cigarette lighter ring. I immediately went back in to the staff rep I was dealing with, Wilson, who was at a loss for words, took pictures, and claimed he would speak with his manager after he was unable to explain why this piece was broken. The manager, Melvin Ramos, got back to me after I AGAIN had to call him 15 times to follow up, and said he would order the part to replace. I then went in to have the part fixed and they ordered the incorrect part. I proceeded to get in an argument with Melvin because he stated that his technicians did not break the part in the first place. HA. It has been FIVE MONTHS since I have had this extreme inconvenience resolved. VW HUNTINGTON YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! More
I purchased a 2013 Jetta TDI Diesel from Shawn Baron. I have all the routine service work done for the first 70,000 miles. That included the DSG transmission service at 40,000 miles. I knew there was something wrong with the car because my mpg went way down. I just couldn’t put my finger on it. At 80,000 I decided to do the DSG Transmission myself. The capacity should be 4 1/2 quarts of fluid. I had a friend with me when I drained The DSG transmission. I got 9 quarts out of it!!!! They probably never drained the original transmission fluid and added another 4 1/2 quarts. after I did my own service the car started driving well again and my fuel economy went back up. I was surprised that they did not blow my transmission due to their negligence! I called the service manager Melvin Ramos and asked who was the xxxxxx who put 9 quarts of transmission fluid in my car? He said he would follow up and get back to me. He never did The next time I came back to the service department for warranty work I produced the 5 gallon bucket with a 9 quarts of transmission fluid in it. The new xxxxxxx in the service department tried to suggest that I could’ve just put any oil in that bucket!!!! I told him that I had notified Melville Ramos at the time. And that he was supposed to follow up and did not. So this xxxxxxx basically accused me of trying to perpetrate a fraud! I am mediately asked to speak to the general manager four times that day. They made excuses and said he wasn’t available. This is a den of vipers and they should never be trusted by anyone! they are absolute low class people. More
Do Not Trust Service Dept! I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had recently replaced my rear passenger tire because of a torn sidewall. When I went to get my car, I noticed that the new tire was STILL on the rear passenger side. I asked the service manager, Wilson Cardoza if they had rotated my tires since I had just paid for a tire rotation. He said yes. When I brought him out to show him the rear tire still in the same spot, he said he had to ask the service technician. After about 15 minutes he came out to tell me that the service tech had been distracted while he was working on my car and had "forgotten" to rotate the tires. This is unacceptable! First that I paid for work not done and then to tell me that the tech was distracted - this doesn't make me feel any better or safer. To make up for it, they tried to bribe me with a free car detailing. No thanks. I will never go back to Huntington VW, even though it is near my house. I would rather drive further to Smithtown VW, where at least they will not lie to my face. More
Service Help I leased a 2018 Volkswagen Passat in July 2018. It had a problem with leaking oil. The service advisor Wilson Cardoza recommended a repair which would take the entire day. The repair was done well and when promised. He gave me a loaner 2019 Jetta. At the end of the day he even cleared the snow off my car. I would highly recommend taking my car to VW of Huntington. Ask for Wilson Cardoza. More
Horrible service after brand new car broke down This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. We purchased our Atlas here in 2017. The car broke down (still under warrantee) and it was towed to them. It's been sitting in their parking lot for a month. I have to call to find out updates. No one gives a courtesy call to say what's going on. They refuse to help get a loaner vehicle to me despite me asking many, many times. If you buy a car from these people and something goes wrong, they will literally do as little as they can possibly do. Do not give these people your money. They all pretend not to know anything and just pass you around to other people. The customer service is horrendous. They are very nice when you buy the car but after that they could care less about you. I have lost hours and hours of my time trying to call these people to get answers and all they do is give me the runaround. Please beware. More

I am very happy to have travelled from Brooklyn to VW of Huntington P.S. I love my car!!! More

Oops I did it again..hit a pothole and was riding on a donut Robert Rice was very helpful with getting my tire replaced and ordered a new part for my radio. He has a very busy client load, especially on a Saturday morning when everyone is asking him a million questions all at the same time. What sets him apart is his affable disposition and that he is involved with each client personally. More

Sudenly the head of service, Edward J Merman, bursts in unannounced, accusing me of trying to take advantage of their vw vehicle special rate of 19.95, which I denied. VW oil is of the highest quality, so I wanted it for my BMW. Its that good. Later, I asked Mr. Merman what his problem was and we both had at it. I have now been effectively banned from this dealership, which I now consider a favor. That 19.95 oil change is just the lead in to much higher service costs. Im glad to be rid of this dealer. I also own a new Jetta, not bought here, but in the Carolinas. Prices there are much cheaper and I will find Long Island service although this is an expensive proposition. IMO, Huntington VW is very much in the tradition of Major and Siluppi. Buyer beware! More
