I feel Scammed Brought my car in for service after some mysterious dash lights showed up on my 2017 VW passat with 32,000 miles. Ray was my service representative. Brought my car in for service after some mysterious dash lights showed up on my 2017 VW passat with 32,000 miles. Ray was my service representative. He explains that it could be a wheel speed sensor that went bad and it will cost approximately $380 to repair. I agreed and asked him to get it repaired. I picked up my car and paid the bill, took the car to my office where it sat for a week due to the coronavirus quarantine orders. After a week I needed to go to the store and turned on my car to find the same exact lights to come back on again. I took it back to the Ft. Myers dealer, where Ray explained that they would take another look a it. He calls me about 4 hours later explaining that another sensor has gone bad. What are the odds of that? I asked him why are these sensors going bad, I barely drive the car? He proceeds to explain that these sensors go bad if the car sits for too long. Wow!!! really?? The car sat for a week after it was supposedly repaired and now another sensor has gone bad. At this point I tell him that I would pick up the car, because I want to get a second opinion. Ray proceeds to tell me that there will be a $150 diagnostics fee. You can just imagine my reaction to that crap. I paid the diagnostics fee and told them they've lost a customer for life. What a bunch of scammers. Save your money and go to a local trusted mechanic. More
Non- Existent Customer Service My wife needed to find out why her Check Engine light was on. She talked to Erin in Service and was given an 8:30 AM appointment on Thursday. Dropped My wife needed to find out why her Check Engine light was on. She talked to Erin in Service and was given an 8:30 AM appointment on Thursday. Dropped vehicle off on Wednesday evening. When we hadn’t heard anything at all on Thursday, we called Service around 4 PM. We were told by a Ray that car hadn’t been looked at because Erin called in sick, like that is our problem. On Friday, we still hadn’t heard anything, so we called at 4 PM again and was told they had BEGUN to look at vehicle and wanted to check out some more on Saturday. Finally called Saturday and was told that they didn’t have a part and had to get on from Jacksonville. Finally received a call on Wednesday saying car was ready after NO communication on Monday or Tuesday. Of course when my wife went there, they tried to tell her she needed more work done. She paid for what was done and got the xxxx out of there. We then took car to a car maintenance shop and they did a diagnostic check for FREE! VW charges $150. Their report showed nothing else needed to be done. They topped off all of the fluid levels as a service with no charge. On their website, the owner of VE dealership tells you to call GM to work issues out. Well I left a message for him on Friday and still didn’t hear from him. I guess poor customer services runs from the top down. If you need your VW serviced, I suggest going to Cape Coral or Naples and stay away from this dealer. More

ATTENTION VW OWNERS: AVOID SERVICE LIKE THE PLAGUE ATTENTION VW OWNERS: AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE A PLAGUE. I sure wish I had. My husband and I are both struggling teachers and we once thought they su ATTENTION VW OWNERS: AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE A PLAGUE. I sure wish I had. My husband and I are both struggling teachers and we once thought they supported teachers. Until today. It appears as though the lying to customers doesn't stop at the top. I was very disappointed with my car experience. After buying my 2012 Jetta, I found a few small issues within a week of driving my car. Dominic, my sales person, promised that they would be taken care of when I came back in for my first service appointment. At my first service appointment, I was told that these issues weren't covered under a certified used car warranty and that it would cost $300 out of pocket-- on top of a $500 40k mile service that HAS to be done. Dominic conveniently "forgot" about the conversation and he never documented it. Not only was I not told that I would have to pay $500 for a service appointment only 4k miles after driving my car (seriously, why couldn't this service have been done BEFORE I bought the car???) but also that a seller's promise means nothing because he didn't write it down. I was willing to be loyal to VW even after the emissions scandal, but when the local branch doesn't take care of its loyal customers (this is my third VW car), I think I will have to switch to a different brand. Very sad and disappointing. More
Absolute Nightmare!! All I wanted was an oil change and for them to check my AC and an oil leak I had. It took an entire week just to perform those simple tasks. At the All I wanted was an oil change and for them to check my AC and an oil leak I had. It took an entire week just to perform those simple tasks. At the end of that week I wound up with a total bill of $529.00. That bill was for the oil change, to tell me whats wrong with the car and for the insurance on the rental car since it did take a WEEK!! To top everything, as they were pulling my car to the front they put down my window and it wouldn't go back up! I will never return to this dealership!! I would rather drive an hour to Naples to have it fixed!! More
I have bought 3 VW at this dealership already. Their service department has been exceptional, and they offered to get the VW factory rep involved to resolve an issue. Nobody is perfect, but this dealers service department has been exceptional, and they offered to get the VW factory rep involved to resolve an issue. Nobody is perfect, but this dealership tries had to be. Friendly people who care enough to please me. When I need another car, I just might buy it from here. More
