Hi, sorry but you came out and the first thing you said is “this isn’t our fault, we can’t protect every car” please stop the front. They weren’t water marks either. Your service manager was super rude also saying she wouldn’t do anything. Extremely unprofessional on all sides. You did a temporary fix for something you permanently damaged. Please everyone go to another dealership!

To be clear, the only part/tool Volkswagen of Fort Myers needed is available on https://parts.vw.com for $162.50. The Soundbox/Subwoofer - Programmer Dongle (Dealer Only) is Part Number DKS051419A. The link is: https://parts.vw.com/p/63615155/dks051419a.html Also, after VW Fort Myers refused to work on my Jetta, the first Volkswagen dealer I called, Lakeland VW, had 4 Programmer Dongles in stock to use for the installation. The staff at VW of Fort Myers, could have easily reached out to other Florida VW dealers (e.g. Lakeland VW) and requested to purchase or rent the programmer dongle for the installation of the Helix Subwoofer/Soundbox system. If Garrett would've been honest with me from the start (our first phone conversation) and stated that VW of Fort Myers didn't have the prior experience or parts/tools to install the Helix unit and refused the job, this entire negative experience could've been avoided.
