This is the third vehicle we have purchased form VW of Fort Myers. All of the Sales Staff is courteous, helpful, and just all around fantastic. Ed Taylor was our Sales Consultant. He was willing and able Fort Myers. All of the Sales Staff is courteous, helpful, and just all around fantastic. Ed Taylor was our Sales Consultant. He was willing and able to listen to our needs, and the particulars of what we were interested in. After a little bit of dialogue with him he let us know what he felt would best work for us. He discussed inventory at their partner locations as well as what was currently on the lot. We were able to browse a few cars and then take a test drive. No pressure, no threats, no coercion of any kind. My wife and I went and had lunch and were able make our decision on our own. Upon returning they were able take care of the sale, financing, tag, title, everything the same day. We left with a full tank of gas and a car we love. Ed Taylor, John Casco, and the rest of the FM VW Team are great. I strongly recommend them. PS their Service Department is fantastic too. More

This time I only had $1,000 to put down on a car and needed to make payments as low as possible(of course). I contacted several dealerships before going to Volkswagon of Fort Myers. I did have a car to trade in, but it was older and had a ton of miles on it. Every dealership I contacted said, "I would not give you a dollar for that car!) A trusted friend of mine referred me to Volkswagon of Fort Myers, and even though it was an hour away from where I live, I had nothing to lose. As soon as I walked in the door and talked to Joe I immediately felt comfortable. I told Joe and Gary what I could and could not afford, and received honest answers about what they could and could not do for me. Not only could I afford the car, which is a 2009 by the way, but they gave me a considerable amount for my trade in. Not only that, but Troy gave me a more than fair interest rate so I felt comfortable purchasing additional gap insurance which I would not have been able to do otherwise. I give Volkswagon of Fort Myers my highest reccommendation and my thanks. More

From the initial call I received on my internet inquiry, to the minute I walked out the door (with new keys in hand!), I can say it was the easiest, smoothest, upfront, experience I have had with a dealership. I would definitely recommend the dealership, and specifically Joe Weidenfeller. Joe and I had been speaking via phone for a few days about the car I was interested in. I have a crazy work week, and being able to schedule an appointment was ideal for me. It makes the process less stressful, and after all the searching and visiting other Dealerships in the area - I wanted to avoid that "typical salesman experience" you run into elsewhere. It is obvious Joe likes doing what he does, and coming from someone that knows - that type of outlook with a job can be hard to find! Joe worked with Troy Arch, and they found the best deal possible for my financial situation, and simply put: went above & beyond. I can't say thank you enough! This was not our first time purchasing a car, but it was the first time I drove off where I didn't feel taken advantage of. The salesman was great. Very pleasant engaging and genuinely interested. The finance team was also very knowledable, HONEST, and informative. The team worked as exactly that. Everyone seemed to have a common goal and that was to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I would and already have recommended this dealership to all my friends, family, co-wokers and even strangers. I can't fail to mention we drove from Miami to test drive our 2007 Chevy Suburban which we found online. It was worth the 2 hour drive "with" the kids. More

We had the best experience ever buying our used truck. No pressure, fair price and everyone worked had to make us feel at home there. This is the second car my wife and I bought from then in less then a year. Love the VW of Ft. Myers team. My wife and will spend several weeks looking for a vehicle before the purchase. We went to this dealership 3 times. The first time we stopped in and spoke with 2 sales people, one who was the Sales vehicle before the purchase. We went to this dealership 3 times. The first time we stopped in and spoke with 2 sales people, one who was the Sales Manager. We spoke a bit and left the dealership. We came back a second time on Veterans day. Once we were able to get a sales person (Dominick), we spoke about a White, 2 door-automatic 2012 Golf. After a prolonged conversation, he stated he would have one ordered and arrive on the lot in 2 days. We had never recieved another message. Three weeks before Christmas, on a Sunday, I went to the dealership to inquire about the car. The Finance Manager and the Sales Manager Steve were present. We began to speak about the "wanted" car. The manager Steve seemed to begin to get irate when we started talking. He mentioned about having a car delivered and that we would have to pay additional cost and a down payment. We stated we would not, and if they wanted to sell a car, then have it on the lot. Steve loudly responded "UH Uh", as if I was some child. Finally, the initial negotiations broke down. After some silence, i stated that "I guess we can't deal". Steve the Manager agreed. I got up to leave, and as I was walking out, he says "HEY...ARMY STRONG!" They knew I was a former Marine and this was his immature way of letting me know who the boss was. We bought our new Golf at VW of Naples! Three weeks after, I get an e-mail from Dominick, thanking me for coming in on Veterans Day. The Sales Manager's attitude lost his dealership a sale. This was probaly a good thing. The receptionist ignores people, the staff are not that friendly, and the Sales Manager "Steve"is arrogant and un-professional. This is a Sonic owned business, and I will be sure to let the Corporate office know of this non-transaction. More
