I am not knowledgable about cars and dreaded the process of finding a replacement. I stopped by Volkswagen of Fort Myers and got the luck of the draw with salesman Joe Weidenfeller. Ladies, you do not have to worry about doing this on your own, with a pro like Joe. He made it enjoyable, easy and effortless. He was extremely patient, taking time to educate me and when I told him our comfortable price point, he never tried to push to a higher level. Joe went above and beyond to be kind, considerate and professional in helping me to choose a safe car at a fair price. Joe Weidenfeller is a gentleman and a giant in the car sales biz. Questionable Practices I went to Volkswagen on the suggestion of a friend with the hope of turning our one car with negative equity into two used cars. We were told to see Mike, however, he was with someone else. The person we worked with seemed amiable enough, however, instead of working the deal that we wanted he tried instead to get us into a lease on two new Jettas. Knowing that our credit was less than stellar, I was doubtful of this solution. After the sales rep pulled our credit report for us to review, our scores were unbelievably low. Because of this, our interest rate went through the roof and the offer went from two Jettas to one (which is the total opposite of what we were trying to accomplish). Not being able to get us into a second car (he never even attempted to get us into used cars like we requested), we walked away, questioning what could have happened to our credit that would drop our scores so low. Seeking answers, I logged into Credit Karma this morning to find that the credit scores presented to me last night were 100 points LOWER than my credit scores being reported by Credit Karma today. How is this even possible??? I can't help but question the reputation of the dealership and the finance manager when I am confronted with such a vast difference in my credit scores after 12 short hours. I would recommend to anyone that you do your credit research in advance. Be educated so that when a dealership tries to get one over on you so they can jack your interest rates, you can call them on it. More

Long story short, after many many options he presented me with an option to my benefit (Not HIS), and I drove home with a 2014 brand new Passat, that I thought would be impossible for me. Joe and Troy went above and beyond helping me with my new car. I've owned a VW in the past and didn't hesitate purchasing another, but these two gentleman put the "icing" on my birthday cake, and made my birthday extra special. Anyone looking to purchase/lease a VW, this is the place to go. Never met such an honest and down to earth salesman like Joe!!!! Both of my cars I bought in Naples and I wish I had node the same this time as well. Well, the finance guy quoted me a payment when he saw my credit score and I agreed with it. It was lunch time, so I went out for lunch... when I came back to close the deal, he told me that he worked his numbers and found me a deal and that my payment was going to be 5 dollars less that what he quoted me and that it was going to be for 6 months less. OMG, I got really excited and happy and closed the deal with him. When I got home, I realized that the amount of money I borrowed did not match my monthly payments with my interest rate, So, I called to complain just to find out that he did not get me a deal: he lied to me and sold me $3000 in products that I did not request. He made it sound that he threw this deal in the basket with the price of the car. He misguided me, lied to me and made me feel like an idiot. I complained to corporate, they refunded me the money, but the loan terms cannot be changed: so I am stuck with a high payment, not only that the finance guy neglects to apologize and keeps saying that he pointed to me that my payment was originally 61 dollars cheaper and I chose to buy those extra products, today, he said I am liar. PLEASE NEVER GO THERE. THEY WILL xxxx YOU! LIE AND SELL YOU PRODUCTS YOU DID NOT WANT TO BUY PRETENDING THEY ARE GIVING IT TO YOU. More

Today I purchased a new VW Beetle - Convertible R-Line w/Sound & Nav - actually it arrived from NC - last week I walked into the dealership where I have been a customer for a good ten years - thinking I w w/Sound & Nav - actually it arrived from NC - last week I walked into the dealership where I have been a customer for a good ten years - thinking I would trade in my 1999 VW Cabrio for a 2014 VW R-Line Candy White with Beige Leather Interior - turns out only two 2014 such cars existed - one was sold - I now have the other :>) Since I have been connected with this dealership for many years for service - it was my choice as I know they are honest and helpful - I asked for Joe Weidenfeller - saleman - I had had a conversation with him previously about old Fairy Tale Books which left an impression on me - to find such a car - and he/the dealership did just that! I would definitely recommend this dealership and all its employees to anyone either to purchase a new or used VW auto or for service of their auto---period :>) Nothing beats the soul of a VW!!!!!!!!! I originally went to this dealership to lease or buy a new vehicle and was closer to my home. When I presented no one was willing to help. Once we did get a sales help he was rude. We sat down to work the new vehicle and was closer to my home. When I presented no one was willing to help. Once we did get a sales help he was rude. We sat down to work the deal and was told there was no possible way to work the deal that was proposed. We left the dealership feeling discouraged. We presented to a dealership to our south.. Naples Florida VW. They were able to make the deal that this dealer was adamant that was impossible. I would advise anyone I know against this dealer. More
