Miracle workers! I went into vw of Fort Myers and was immediately assisted by Joe Weidenfeller. I was admittedly hesitant due to a pre-conceived opinion of dealers/dea I went into vw of Fort Myers and was immediately assisted by Joe Weidenfeller. I was admittedly hesitant due to a pre-conceived opinion of dealers/dealerships..2 minutes into our initial interaction those opinions completely disappeared. I was amazed by how knowledgeable and courteous he was and how hard he and Jeff worked to get me behind the wheel. They left no stone unturned and I am 100% convinced that if they say they cannot do it then it simply can't be done. Not only do they work hard to get you a car but they have your best interest at heart as well when it comes to pricing and monthly payments. I will be recommending my children and grandchildren to this dealership..they have gained a customer for life. Thanks guys! More

As we pulled into the parking lot a bright yellow 2010 VW Beetle stole my heart. We parked by the front of the building and Joe braved the weather and rain to let me check it out. The last time I bought I car was in 2001, I was apprehensive with the process, but Joe was the best person to talk to. He answered all our questions, in a direct and honest manner. Even going into further detail to explain things we might question later. His friendly demeanor and positive attitude instills trust and goodwill. By the time we left, it was like we had met a new friend. A few days later we stopped by to pick up an antenna for the car, Joe purchased and had it installed for us! This man goes above and beyond for his customers. More

Thanks to our salesman, Joe Weidenfeller, our shopping and buying experience could not have been better! Joe is honest, professional, accommodating and very pleasant to work with. He also is a no-pressure salesman, and has a through knowledge of VW cars, which helped us make an informed buying decision. We have also purchased high-end vehicles in Fort Myers, and our experience with Joe and VW of Fort Myers was on par with the high-end purchases. We also appreciated Jeff Burke, Finance Manager at the dealership. The finance office portion of a car purchase can be confusing and stressful. However, Jeff is professional and knowledgable, and uses a no pressure, informative approach to explain the various extended warranties and protections available, which helped us make an informed decision about those products as well. I recommend VW of Fort Myers without reservation. Ask for Joe Weidenfeller, and you will have an excellent car buying experience! More

My husband and I are both struggling teachers and we once thought they su ATTENTION VW OWNERS: AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE A PLAGUE. I sure wish I had. My husband and I are both struggling teachers and we once thought they supported teachers. Until today. It appears as though the lying to customers doesn't stop at the top. I was very disappointed with my car experience. After buying my 2012 Jetta, I found a few small issues within a week of driving my car. Dominic, my sales person, promised that they would be taken care of when I came back in for my first service appointment. At my first service appointment, I was told that these issues weren't covered under a certified used car warranty and that it would cost $300 out of pocket-- on top of a $500 40k mile service that HAS to be done. Dominic conveniently "forgot" about the conversation and he never documented it. Not only was I not told that I would have to pay $500 for a service appointment only 4k miles after driving my car (seriously, why couldn't this service have been done BEFORE I bought the car???) but also that a seller's promise means nothing because he didn't write it down. I was willing to be loyal to VW even after the emissions scandal, but when the local branch doesn't take care of its loyal customers (this is my third VW car), I think I will have to switch to a different brand. Very sad and disappointing. More
