Terrible Customer Service Experience at Volkswagen of Fort Myers If I could give zero stars, I would. I called Volkswagen of Fort Myers this morning at 10:30 am and spoke with Diego, the so-called “sa Fort Myers If I could give zero stars, I would. I called Volkswagen of Fort Myers this morning at 10:30 am and spoke with Diego, the so-called “sales manager,” to request a payoff quote for my 2022 Atlas, which I leased through this dealership. From the very beginning, Diego was unhelpful and dismissive. He told me he couldn’t provide a payoff quote and insisted I contact Volkswagen customer service instead. I explained to him that customer service had already directed me—on three separate occasions—to the dealership for this exact request. I also mentioned that another dealership had no problem giving me a payoff quote a few months ago. Diego reluctantly said he’d call me back. Thirty minutes later, I still hadn’t heard from him, so I called back. After being transferred twice by his sales team, I was dropped into someone’s voicemail. Frustrated, I called yet again and, this time, Diego answered. His tone was unwelcoming and rude. I pleaded with him to assist me, but he claimed they were “too busy with customers” and someone would call me back “when able.” When I asked for an estimate on timing, he gave me a vague, dismissive response: “I don’t want to lie to you and give you a time since we’re extremely busy.” It’s now 2:11 pm—nearly four hours later—and I have yet to receive a call back. Meanwhile, I contacted a dealership in Fort Pierce, and they provided me with a payoff quote in just five minutes. Volkswagen of Fort Myers clearly does not value their customers’ time or business. Diego’s lack of professionalism and unwillingness to assist was infuriating. If you’re looking for reliable and respectful service, avoid this dealership at all costs. More

Instead, he chose to ignore and pretend he never read it. Inquiry in regard to the extreme level of metal corrosion under the frame of the vehicle I purchased from this dealership. Little he knew, ‘the issue’ turned into ‘issueS’, similar to a snowball downhill. It went from metal corrosion to my driver’s license suspension due to VW of Fort Myers’ negligence to process my traded-in car appropriately. In addition, they mishandled the paperwork of the Vehicle Registration. I received a totally wrong document with vehicle information that wasn’t the one I purchased. For over SEVENTY days these issues were not resolved, the level of carelessness was appalling. After weeks of getting no response from VW of Fort Myers, I sent a letter to Volkswagen USA Headquarters and decided to call their Customer Service directly. The customer service agent who answered the call, his name is Logan. Despite my contempt and animosity, due to my frustration, Logan applied a big dosage of patience, he took the time to ask and to listen. After consulting with his supervisor he assured me they were going to refer my case to the Regional Manager of the area. As said as done. The next day I received a call from Volkswagen Regional Manager, Daniel P. After a thorough Q&A session, Ms. Daniel explained she would start working on my case and would keep me updated whether there was progress or not. She did through and through. Two weeks after VW Regional Manager Ms Daniel P took control of my case and several missed calls from VW of Fort Myers management, finally, I received a call from the General Manager, Jimmy. He informed me, regarding metal corrosion, the vehicle passed a Safety Inspection, not clear to me if the metal corrosion was part of that inspection. He also said they were going to work on the Vehicle Registration mess. Seventy days after the purchase of the vehicle, I finally received the correct Vehicle Registration. Thank you to Volkswagen Regional Manager Ms.Daniel P. Her diligent, effective mediation was pivotal to solving my case. Without Ms. Daniel, my case would probably still be unresolved More
My first time working with a VW dealership and man was this the easiest and quickest trade/purchase I have ever done! Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you." 10/02/2024 I called the General Manager, VW of Fort Myers, LEFT A VOICEMAIL. Today, 10/11/2024, nine days after, never received a call back from the General Manager. This is the second time I tried to contact this dealership to discuss the excessive car corrosion issues and major car's paperwork problem. My driver's license was suspended due to negligence made by VW of Fort Myers. Two months after the purchase of my car, still don't have the correct Vehicle Registration. I bought a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, they handed me a 2018 VW Tiguan Vehicle Registration. The level of disregard, indifference and carelessness of this dealership is appalling Thursday October 3, 2024, I contacted Volkswagen USA Customer Service. Logan, VW USA customer service representative, demonstrated genuine interest in helping. He gathered all my information and told me my case was going to be referred to VW Regional Manager. As said. as done. Friday October 4, I received the call from VW Regional Manager who assured me was going to start working on case immediately. Since that day communication with the Regional Manager has been constant, keeping me update. Yesterday Thursday 10/10/2024, another call from the Regional Manager, no respond from Volkswagen of Fort Myers addressing my case yet. If Volkswagen USA Corporate Headquarters and/or VW of Fort Myers continue ignoring my inquiries and neglecting to solve the car's Vehicle Registration mess they made, I would have to consider other venues. More
