xxxx these people. Never go there, EVER !! They sold my mother a van with 3 different tires, two of them being snow tires and one of them is 5/8th of an inch higher then the other one which is throwing off mother a van with 3 different tires, two of them being snow tires and one of them is 5/8th of an inch higher then the other one which is throwing off the tire sensor AND they are dye rotted. They say that this all passes Maryland State Inspection which is total xxxxxxxxx. She is going to now take the van to a private Inspection station and see what they have to say. Personally I think that it is xxxxxxxxx to have dealerships do their own "Maryland State Inspection" where clearly they are not doing anything properly (they have already fixed, on our van, 5 things that supposedly passed inspection the first time). CAN THEY EVEN BE TRUSTED WITH DOING THEIR OWN IMSPECTIONS ?! Clearly NOT !! I was going to drive this van to a week long concert (in 2 weeks) on the side of a mountain and I doubt that it will even make the xxxx trip ! There is a really bad spot on the way to the concert that does not have any guard rails... what if the dry rotted tire blew out ?! Then 4 innocent teens would have lost their lives. When my mother told them this, they seemed not to care and stood by their decision that this van is all right to drive and safe. Which again is crap. They will not make this right, so now she has to buy 2 new tires to make the van safe and then pursue getting the money back with the owner of the company. All in all, never get ANYTHING from this place, not even a paper chip. They're a load of horse xxxx and I really hope that they get sued out the xxx ! More
We found a vehicle on "one" of their websites for $27K and then found the same vehicle/same VIN for $29K on their main website. Contacted dealership via email re: vehicle and price prior to visi for $27K and then found the same vehicle/same VIN for $29K on their main website. Contacted dealership via email re: vehicle and price prior to visiting. Price of vehicled paid ended up being over $30K. Was told price diff. due to fees - primarily the MD Inspection! Since when does any state's inspection cost over $1000! Still waiting for missing navigation disk, spare key and an issue with the tire warning was never resolved. Only received 2 pcs. of paper at signing - never got a copy of the 30 days/1,000 miles warranty. Having a hard time getting our missing items to us. One of the worst dealerships I've ever dealt with! The people over at Cook VW have ALWAYS been very courteous to me. Mike and Tim are a very professional duo who not only work well together they work with you as a customer. They patiently answer any questions I have particularly the ones I have on repair costs and they explain why certain repairs are necessary to keep me safe on the road. Tim has even gone so far as to change a tire for me which blew out while I was enroute to have the tire checked. That was SERVICE!! I had checked with other dealerships and been told several different things. I took it into Cook and they repaired my vehicle in a timely manner and treated me with respect.
