Bought a certified used car last Wed that was defective The car I bought I drove to Philadelphia and the hatch popped up in Philadelphia Route 1 traffic. Next morning it happened again in front of the hos The car I bought I drove to Philadelphia and the hatch popped up in Philadelphia Route 1 traffic. Next morning it happened again in front of the hospital and again in Bethesda on Wisconsin Avenue. It's a dangerous car that I thought was certified. I drove far to meet this dealership and thought they were reputable. There is no CD player on the console and no second key. They said I had to order one. With all that I've been through I should get one complimentary. Just saw the $500 coupon and intend on using that. In addition, there is something more wrong because there is so much road noise, it sounds like I am in a DC3. Not a relaxing drive at all. There is a 30 period and I intend on using that. I was fully intending on returning next year but this is a red flag. I'm editing this review today 7/31/15. Teena is great and made the purchase painless. She always responds to my calls and emails and her great reviews was the reason I drove upp here from DC. She even gets back to you when she's on vacation. Right on! If there is a problem her manager works hard to please. The car was noisy and the mechanics that Teena got said it was from cupping so he offered to pay for 2 new tires. Really nice people. Worst used car buying experience ever. The used car department of this place has provided the worst car buying experience I have ever had. First off whatever Internet price you see add anot The used car department of this place has provided the worst car buying experience I have ever had. First off whatever Internet price you see add another $2,500 to it for shipping, cleaning, and MD inspection. Despite my better judgement I allowed my daughter to purchase from here, and my god what a mistake. To close the sale Mike promised to fix every issue I had with the car (in writing). Once those papers were signed they tried every way possible to get out of holding up their end of the deal. They held onto her car in their shop for 3 weeks to fix a roof leak, replace a mirror, detail the car, and replace a key. In fixing the roof leak they messed up the window sensors. So these warranty repairs began snowballing and believe they dragged their feet as to run out the 30 day warranty. Their main excuse as to why everything was taking so long..."It's too cold out to work on your car". They kept suggesting we pick the car up and bring it back in the spring when its warm out. It took my wife calling and demanding a manager and myself filing a complaint with corporate Volkswagen, that suddenly they were able to make the repairs in a day and a half. And it was at that point the apologies stopped and everyone became rude and straight to the point. More
