From the very start he has been pleasant, a Volkswagen of Clarksville. Steven Mayhew is the sales person who sold me my first Volkswagen car in 2016. From the very start he has been pleasant, attentive has assisted me with every question, every need. I have my car serviced at Volkswagen according to the service schedule recommendation Steven is always there to check to be sure that everything‘s going OK. The staff in the service department are wonderful they get things taken care of very quickly. I recently bought out my lease and Steven and Josh were wonderful they took care of everything made sure I got the best deal that was available. I recommend Volkswagen of Clarksville and in particular Steven to everybody I know and talk with about cars. Thank you for the kind of service that seems to be your norm. While I have not dealt with other sales personnel at Volkswagen of Clarksville I’ve been in there many times throughout the last four years and every person that I have heard speaking to customers has been kind, attentive and I would imagine that other customers feel just like I do Volkswagen of Clarksville is wonderful! DO NOT purchase a vehicle from here. They do not follow through with what they say they are going to do and commit to things they do not follow through with. No one will call you back or address the things through with what they say they are going to do and commit to things they do not follow through with. No one will call you back or address the things they commit to and they avoid accountability. I purchased a vehicle from them and the remote start didnt work, said that I didnt know what I was doing, then when they tried it saw that it was defective because they had to associate a new key with the car after losing the original key, then decided not to fix it after committing to fixing it so they knowingly sold me care with a defect that they said was not a defect and was operable. Was sent a voucher for a free Maintenance check, they returned the vehicle without completing the maintenance check even though they entered into their system as completing it and was notified via Carfax that they said they completed it. THEN, as if that wasnt enough, before I purchased the vehicle I requested a specific license plate which they said was no issue, with documentation to prove, now find out that they didnt order it and will not order it to correct yet another mistake. HORRIBLE SERVICE, shady ways to do business. They also will not send an update tag considering my 30 day tag expired. HORRIBLE SERVICE. GO SOMEHWERE ELSE. More

I was informed that a vehicle inspection had been performed on my new car before purchase. I find this hard to believe considering the multiple issues I now face with the car. When calling the dealership to inquire about this, I was told "our senior service tech inspected your car, he doesn't make mistakes". The faulty locking mechanisms and alarm system on my vehicle has resulted in a property theft from my vehicle which I believed to be locked. Little did I know, VW of clarksville was negligent to perform an inspection of my vehicle. This experience along with other details such as the lack of my XM trial subscription being included in my vehicle and relieving the vehicle with an empty tank of fuel at the time of purchase, have my my experience here a bad one. I do hope that others take caution when considering purchasing a vehicle here. It may be a good experience for you, but mine was not. More

Hello this is litosha curry I'm reaching out to you in writing about the title to the car. My 30 day tags expire today 8/30/20. I was denied the title because to car did not pass sheriff inspection. When we spoke on the phone you and another employee only offered to remove the tint and i would have to come out of pocket to replace the tint. I however do not find that to be fair. It's a huge inconvenience for me to travel 30 minutes to and from the nearest sheriff station also 25 minutes to and from the Volkswagen dealership and then to find a DMV to get title transferred to get plates all with my 7 day old baby I have just given birth. This is extremely overwhelming and unexpected. So I am asking that the tint be removed and replaced at Volkswagen expense. This dealership is crooked! They literally took payment for services and labor that they didn’t do! Would not recommend them at all! Needed to get some work done on my VW Atlas. Anthony Murphy, in the service department, was very accommodating and made sure to explain the entire process to me.
