Awesome car buying experience from start to finish. My experience started through internet search, where I was immediately greeted by a pop-up from a sales associate, I believe named Amanda. She answered experience started through internet search, where I was immediately greeted by a pop-up from a sales associate, I believe named Amanda. She answered many of my questions, and set up a VIP test drive of a 2013 VW Passat. The next day when I went for my test drive, I was greeted at the front door by my sales consultant, Roger Hodges. I could tell right away that I was going to enjoy working with Roger. He was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the Volkswagen brand, and more specifically the Passat. I never felt pressured in any way to make a purchase the day of the test drive, or at any other time during the sales process; however, I did feel they would try to find a way to meet my needs. I also had the pleasure of working with another sales consultant, Cody Burns, that helped finalize the sale and handle the paperwork. Cody was also very polite, professional, and was a pleasure to deal with. They made the whole process of the car purchase seamless from start to finish, which included the valuation of the vehicle I traded in on the purchase. I recommend you give them a chance to earn your business.....You will not be disappointed! More
I love Hallmark VW! I’ve been getting my 2005 Jetta serviced here for 2 years since I moved from CA and have had excellent experiences every time. That’s more than I can say for all the other dealershi serviced here for 2 years since I moved from CA and have had excellent experiences every time. That’s more than I can say for all the other dealerships I’ve used in the past. My husband also gets his 2002 Passat serviced there and has also had the same type of experience every time. I just purchased my brand new Jetta TDI a little over a week ago and experienced the best car buying process ever. I owe a great big thank you to Charlie (my sales associate), EJ, Cody, and especially Aaron (my sales manager). They did not have the 2012 Jetta TDI on the lot with ALL of my required specifications, but managed to track down my dream car including all my special requests all the way across TN. They were more than willing to pick up the car and finalize the process. I was amazed at the value of my trade in especially being a 7-year-old car and got a phenomenal price on my new one. There was a slight error when I was quoted for financing and they adjusted their mistake and made sure their original quote was honored. That is absolutely commendable! I love my new car and have no regrets. My husband and I will be coming back in the near future to trade in his car for a new GTI. Hands down the best car dealership! More
I took my 2005 VW Beetle to the Hallmark VW Cool Springs, Franklin, TN Service Department in March for possible electrical problems (blowing sensors, pumps, anything electrical for the life of the car) and a Franklin, TN Service Department in March for possible electrical problems (blowing sensors, pumps, anything electrical for the life of the car) and an occasional slip in the transmission. Expected it to be there a week. After 17 weeks, my insurance said the expenses were approaching the value of the vehicle - originally around $3000 but each week brought new problems and a new price up to almost $10,000, including parts to be ordered from Germany (where they had to retool the line to make these parts?), they had ordered the wrong part so another one had to be ordered (wiring and body harnesses) - 4 weeks each; they told me they had cleared all this with my insurance company and eventually my insurance company said they didn't know about the last round with Germany until after it was ordered and received. They tore all the parts out of the inside of the car - seats, dash, carpet - all you could see was metal and the engine inside the windows. All the parts were dumped on the shop floor in a heap. When insurance finally said they were going to total it, Hallmark required a payment of $5000 for the 'work they did.' They quit answering my calls, we had to go to the dealer to find out what was happening. So for 17 weeks I had no car. Everytime I would get them on the phone (by saying I was making a new appointment so they didn't ask for my name at the receptionist desk) they would say another week or another two weeks. My insurance adjuster said there was absolutely no way they would have ever gotten that car back together and working again. This was an impeccably maintained car, never wrecked, looked brand new, 38000 miles in 6 years. When I went to collect my things from the trunk, the Service Manager told me he hoped to use the parts on my vehicle (fenders, seats, parts) on other customers' cars. You can't even count on a part they sell you not having come from someone else's broken car! I have never seen anything like it or been so disappointed in a business in my 58 years. More
I've read some non-great reviews, but they must be under new management since I had a great experience there. I took my non-VW truck for some service when I went out of town. I thought I needed a bunch of w new management since I had a great experience there. I took my non-VW truck for some service when I went out of town. I thought I needed a bunch of work done and was prepared for a huge bill. But not only was everyone super nice to deal with, turns out my truck didn't need quite as much work as I thought. I felt like they were honest - and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest, reliable, pleasant VW mechanic. Be sure to tell Aaron, the service manager, hi for me! More
This dealer kept my 2008 Touareg for over 2 MONTHS and still failed to repair it. Now the dealer and VW Corp state there was and is no problem with my vehicle and that my issue is "normal". They consider still failed to repair it. Now the dealer and VW Corp state there was and is no problem with my vehicle and that my issue is "normal". They consider a vehicle that jerks in reverse to be "normal". Out of the parts they've thrown at it, they never once looked at the transmission or the reverse gear itself. Some mechanics! Now they refuse to do any further warranty work at all. In addition to all of this, they NEVER call you back, treat you rudely, and your repairs have to be done by out of town mechanics they bring in that still cant fix your vehicle. If you ever want to get your vehicle back, I suggest you never bring it to this dealership. Seriously, 2 months theyve had my vehicle. Its still there! They are either unwilling/unable/not smart enough to fix vehicles. I've dealt with two dealerships and VW Corporate and its been one big epic FAILURE. Horrible quality cars built by horrible people. I've never once had car trouble until I bought this, my first and last VW. I highly recommend Nissan or Acura. I've owned both for years and had zero issues. I'm not hard to please. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AND VW FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! Dont fall for looks or warranties. They do not honor their warranties and the cars fall apart. More
