So we got a used VW Jetta for our daughter a couple of years ago. Bill Ott was very helpful, professional to execute this sale (excellent sales rep). As time progressed we have noted the hood had damage on the paint job and later on found that the car was involved in a car accident that was not reported prior to us purchasing the vehicle. The icing on the cake is we haven’t been able to renew our car registration with DMV over the last 2 years. VW Pasadena Business Office Rep has not been helpful AT all and when we talk to them it goes on deaf ears. She insinuated we were the ones with the problem and basically leave her alone and to deal with DMV.. DMV now told us it’s the dealership’s mishandling of the transaction. Now we are stuck with a debt, a car that’s unregistered or appears to not be in the system so we can’t even pay for the registration. At this point we’re not sure if we have purchased a LEMON 🍋 More
Warning about Extended warranty on 2023 ID. 4. DO NOT Purchase it. I purchased an ID.4 on 05/10/2023. In addition to the full purchase price of car, I purchased a VWFS warranty for $4200. Afte 4. DO NOT Purchase it. I purchased an ID.4 on 05/10/2023. In addition to the full purchase price of car, I purchased a VWFS warranty for $4200. After a few days and researching this additional warranty it was unnecessary because VW has a great stand alone warranty. I contacted VW of Pasadena a few days later, less than a week to request a full refund on this warranty. I was told it is possible. Two weeks went by and I received nothing, no explanation of what the delay was. I was told I needed to fill out paperwork. Why this was not addressed initially is how this dealership treats its customers; delay, delay, and delay. I filled out digital paperwork and was told I would be hearing back from dealership about my refund. Nothing! I went in person a couple of times, only to be told the check is in the mail. Last night, 08/17/2023, I went in person again to find out why this refund taking so long( 3 months). I was told there is something wrong with the check. This is ridiculous. I feel the Management of VW of Pasadena is creating the delay of my refund. I find this repulsive as a business practice. They have been making excuses of why my full refund has not happened. They have not been upfront with me. I hope this review will be read by all future buyers to warn the potential customers at VW of Pasadena that their business practices are flawed, almost fraudulent. Kevin Ho is the man and a valuable asset to VW of Pasadena!! I really do not write reviews much, but I felt compelled in doing so after having a phone conversation with Kevin Ho. I was an Internet Manager myself I really do not write reviews much, but I felt compelled in doing so after having a phone conversation with Kevin Ho. I was an Internet Manager myself, and now a broker. Kevin is the man!! I only spoke with him once on the phone (after speaking quite a few other dealerships, and being brushed off the phone), and I felt that Kevin was very sincere and I truly believe he went above and beyond to help me out. Unlike some of the dealerships I called, Kevin told me he will do his best to work with me and call me back and he did as he promised! By simply calling back (nothing more), whether there's a deal or not, he went above and beyond any other VW dealership I dealt with today. As one former Internet Manager to another fellow Internet Manager - Thank you Kevin you're awesome! Volkswagen of Pasadena, you've got a gem in your hand - he's a keeper! Fantastic Sales Experience! Wow! These guys are great! Kevin Ho helped me and was fantastic! He found literally the exact car I was looking for and was able to get it for me. I a Wow! I am in the Navy and was deployed and had no access to a phone. He promptly communicated through email and when I was home he was able to get everything done. When we got to the dealer, everything was set up! He answered every question we had about the car and helped us with a lot! Everyone else at the dealer was FANTASTIC! Arsalan Baig helped us finalize the sale and set up the car. He was patient, knowledgeable and assisted in everything else we need. I will definitely be returning for my next VW and service. I like 1.5 hours away, but it is well worth the drive! I HIGHLY recommend them and the Volkswagen product and set-up! More

I was nervous being so far away and not being able to see the car in person. Karl had told me from day 1 he promised things would run smooth with the purchase and the delivery. It was he kept his promise. He set up the shipping with a reputable company that was fully licensed and insured. The car arrived as promised when promised. Since the purchase of the car I have had a couple of things I needed done even though Karl is in California and I am in South Carolina he made sure everything was done and stood by my side the entire time. It has been a couple of months since I purchased the car and I'm having issues with my local dealer and believe it or not Karl stepped up and is handling it from 3000 miles away. I got a nice 2013 yellow Beetle from this dealer. It was great purchasing experience. Arturo, the sales consult was kind and nice and patient. He walked me through all the complex steps.
