Called and asked if you take walk ins, was told yes, when I arrived, I was told I needed to make an appointment (first available 5 days later). After some back and forth on if you do take walk ins I was told I arrived, I was told I needed to make an appointment (first available 5 days later). After some back and forth on if you do take walk ins I was told "you can leave your car, and we will get to it when we get to it". We rarely use this, so repair was not urgent but dropping it off Saturday was the most convenient. Later that afternoon I received and accepted the quote. While on the phone I mentioned to them I had an additional concern about the cabin light staying on and asked if the tech could look into that. I got resistance and told I took the car in for a check engine light, so it wasn't looked at. When car was ready on Wednesday, I was called with a total. I was not told you do not accept cash, or that there is a processing fee for credit cards. The communication process needs major improvement. While going back and forth about walk ins I called Rudolph Mazda: Do you take walk ins//Not on Saturdays, but you are welcome to bring your car and we will look at it first thing Monday//Thank you//You're welcome, see you here! The only reason we did not take the car to Rudolph is cause your team finally agreed to accept the car. You are not providing any service free of charge, so why do I feel as if I was being discouraged from giving you money ($828.86 to be exact). It would have been more if you would have serviced the cabin light issue. Your dealership is near my home, but I will gladly drive the 25 miles/30 minutes if it's going to be this annoying every time. On a more positive note, your service tech did an excellent job, from the video explanation to the work performed (I give him 5 stars). More
