Took my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk in to get diagnosed for a service transmission light. I dropped it off on January 10th and was told by the service advisor that it would most likely be diagnosed on the for a service transmission light. I dropped it off on January 10th and was told by the service advisor that it would most likely be diagnosed on the following Tuesday because Monday was a holiday. Tuesday came and went. The car sat in their lot until January 17th. I never got and phone or text update after the first generic text message indicating the car was in queue. I finally called the service advisor on January 17th to get an update. The service advisor put me on hold while he checked the status from his service technician. I was waiting and waiting then I get a call on my call waiting saying it was the dealership the line hung up. The service advisor said he will call me back with what the service technician's diagnosis. I finally got a call later that day with the horrific diagnosis and estimated cost. The cost to fix was going to be more than my car was worth. I asked if there was anything he could do to try and get a rebuilt transmission but he said this was a remanufactured transmission. I'm not giving the dealership a 1 star for the fix cost but the overall lack of follow up with dropping my car off for 8 days with me having to do all the communication about the diagnosis. I was then told the diagnostic cost was $200. I had a tow truck pick it up on the next day and reluctantly paid the fee A couple of days later I get an email advising that if I bought a new car from this dealership they would refund the diagnostic fee. No thanks Jeeps are money pits. I bought the Jeep from what was Jack Key Jeep and that ownership was 5 stars. Beware if you take your vehicle to this dealership the experience is going to get you a 1 star experience. More
Bought a car. Seller lack of communication while we got the car. It took 2 weeks to get the car we bought & we wouldnt hear from the seller as far as updates. They could of done a better job especially since they “detailed” it twice. More
