Brought in truck (spring/summer 2020) to have service performed under extended warranty that was sold to me by Vision Nissan in Webster. Truck and warranty were both purchased from Vision Nissan of Webst performed under extended warranty that was sold to me by Vision Nissan in Webster. Truck and warranty were both purchased from Vision Nissan of Webster. Greece location was closer to my house and only reason I decided to go there. Service at counter was awesome. Could not say enough good things about Nick the service advisor but the work done on the truck was a much different story. After having a new radiator installed, they reattached my grill with zip ties. After having both exhaust manifolds replaced, they failed to properly re-install the middle hanger for the exhaust and I drove away with the exhaust banging against the bottom of the truck/frame. Also, the old manifold bolts were left sitting on the skid plate and never retrieved after new manifolds/bolts were installed. Passenger side fog light wiring was incorrectly routed and was unable to be plugged in to the light itself. They left it like that when truck was returned to me in addition to the things I mentioned above. Will never buy another vehicle or have a vehicle serviced at any Vision location again. The 4th vehicle I purchased from them is my last. I do have email documentation of everything mentioned above. My name and my truck would most likely cause the service manager (Mark) to shudder in his chair as he and I had many discussions about the poor quality of work being done at his shop. On one occasion, I demanded that Mark and his foreman come to my house instead of me bringing the truck back to him again to see the horrible work. He actually honored that request and drove to my house with his foreman to see everything they did wrong and his foreman actually fished out the loose bolts from the manifold repair using one of my magnetic reach tools in my driveway. They were surprised that I was actually telling the truth about all the issue's and apologized profusely. However, no refund for my portion of payment was ever made or offered to me. He only said, "we'll eat your deductible to the warranty company" but I found out later by way of the warranty company that the dealer just said they weren't charging it and the warranty company didn't charge the dealer. So essentially, the dealer did nothing for me except make me bring it back again and waste more of my time so they could have yet another shot at getting it right. Would rate zero stars if possible. We needed to purchase a new car and we were very concerned with regards to todays challenging car buying climate. You can rest assure that the staff at Vision Nissan Greece, especially manager Joe concerned with regards to todays challenging car buying climate. You can rest assure that the staff at Vision Nissan Greece, especially manager Joe Minarik and sales person Ryan, are there to help you. They were very very professional and understood our needs. They were very knowledgable and worked with us to get a great deal on our new Nissan. I cannot recommend enough, especially the service we have been provided after the initial sale. Thank you! More
I scheduled an appointment to purchase a Nissan Maxima SR from the dealership today. I was presented two lease options and agreed to one of the terms. My sales consultant John Desalvo congratulated me on the from the dealership today. I was presented two lease options and agreed to one of the terms. My sales consultant John Desalvo congratulated me on the purchase and completed the credit application. He took the credit application into the sales manager. The sales manager came out to tell me that he forgot to factor is sales tax. I understand that mistakes happen however charging tax on a car purchase is seldom missed. The solution from the dealer was to split the tax which increased the payment significantly. I feel as though the dealer should have taken ownership of the mistake. I did not move forward with the purchase as a result of the error. Very poor customer experience! More
I called and asked for the manager, Frank C the answered I called and asked for the manager, Frank C the answered and refused to give his last name when I asked, I had to press him for his last name. That I called and asked for the manager, Frank C the answered and refused to give his last name when I asked, I had to press him for his last name. That clearly speaks to accountablitiy issues, particularly as a manager. The problem I called him with is the title we received from the state still shows the previous owners Lien. We paid cash and now cannot sell until we get a Lien release letter from the bank. This will now take weeks until we can sell the car. Frank Said there was nothing he could do about it. Now we have to waste hours of time to fix Vision's mistake. and wait to sell the car. I am not even mentioning how many times she had to go back with the same mechanical probems. I would suggest staying away from this dealer if you expect service after the sale. More
Frank, the General Sales Manager was rude and disrespectful. I find it amazing that there are still dealerships and Sales Managers that believe the general public are uninformed idiots. I also em disrespectful. I find it amazing that there are still dealerships and Sales Managers that believe the general public are uninformed idiots. I also emailed the President "Mario" about how I was treated, but did not receive a response from him. I would steer clear of this dealership, especially if Frank is their leadership. I wonder how much money Vision spends to get a single customer through their doors? Obviously they are making so much money that they can afford to lose some. More
I have purchased two Rogues with the help of Ryan. He is amazing. I trust him so much I took my son to get a car, and have referred others. That trust was destroyed during the transaction with my son. Th amazing. I trust him so much I took my son to get a car, and have referred others. That trust was destroyed during the transaction with my son. The finance manager is a fast talking bs artist. I disliked car from start. Asked Ryan to see others. Because my son is inexperienced he said things that allowed the sales and finance people to continue the game. I refrained from embarrassing my son by refusing to cosign. I wanted to see other cars because Fords are basically a headache per my experience. My questions were evaded or responded to in a limited manner. I like Ryan so much that I continued against my better judgement - my bad there. The finance manager played us. He flipped the contract after the fact. I refused to take the car unless we had secured financing. So the finance manager had us come in and sign the contract telling us the loan was approved. I questioned repeatedly why I was the primary when I was in fact the cosigner for my son with no credit. Per finance, its just because my score WAS higher than his that I am first. Makes no sense but ok, I have never cosigned for a kid before. I trust Ryan, they wont screw us. Dumb me! 2 days into the car we notice a chip in the wind shield. They say they will replace it. We also contracted for an extended warrantee. I was not happy son was willing to buy car with such high mileage. Warrantee at least made that a little safer. Week two, the car is running hot and shut off. I had it towed to the dealer. One week at dealer - no updates. However finance manager had us sign a new contract while we still had no idea what was happening, and as far as I was concerned were sold a lemon they really did not inspect thoroughly. Again, I went in because I trusted Ryan (I will never trust another dealership or sales person again - if their lips are moving I will assume they are lying - especially the finance person.) Week two, no word. Text Ryan because calling may result in me cursing someone out I am so fed up. Waiting for parts - mind you noone has told us what the problem is and asked if we were ok with their plan. Timing chain needs replaced. I researched - this isnt a mild issue - there could be other engine issues because of the timing chain. Clearly the car was traded in because the previous owner knew it was time to get a car to avoid what we were dumped with. Long series of texts, calls, and flim flams with the result being that we signed a second contract. Finance manager lies - said he explained every detail. He absolutely did not. He changed the warantee to half of what we orginially purchased, he added gap insurance without our knowledge, and they did additional credit checks on me without my knowledge AFTER we signed a contract that he said only needed to be redone because of errors and the bank demanding some changes. Same deal, but hey we are saving you by getting a (very small) decrease in the interest. Another thing he didnt mention - he added three more months onto the end of the contract without discussing that either. I know I should have stood my ground and forced them to show me line for line what was happening. The finance manager plays a good shell game. He exploited a young mans inexperience, a mother trying to help her single dad son have a car to drive to work / daycare..., and my trust in Ryan. There are more details but its already too long of a review. I have sent an email to the owner. If I do not get a response I will move on to the next level and file a complaint with Attorney General or wherever is appropriate. Google is a beautiful thing when it comes to finding resources. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM VISION NISSAN AGAIN. IF YOU GO IN THERE - KEEP YOUR POKER FACE ON - GIVE ABSOLUTELY NO INFO THAT WILL LET THEM PLAY YOU EMOTIONALLY - AND DEMAND STRAIGHT ANSWERS LINE FOR LINE BEFORE YOU AGREE TO ANYTHING. THE FINACE MANAGER WILL BURN YOU AND TELL YOU HE IS TRYING TO HELP YOU - AFTER ALL HE HAS CHILDREN AND HE WOULDNT WANT THEM DRIVING AN UNSAFE CAR. I am sure he wouldnt have allowed himself to be doopped like we did as he knows all of the tricks. More
