Customer service and commitment to detail is very lacking at this dealership. We waited past the estimated delivery date and heard nothing from the sales department. Contacted our sales agent and did not h at this dealership. We waited past the estimated delivery date and heard nothing from the sales department. Contacted our sales agent and did not hear back for 2 days. A new estimated date was given. That date arrived and went with no contact from the dealership. When our car was finally available we went to pick it up. The sales agent had not contacted our insurance agent yet so we had to wait for that. The finance guy was on vacation, so we had a trainee handling all our paperwork. The floor mats and cargo mat we bought with the car were not installed. The agent said he would deliver them to our house the following Monday. By Thursday we hadn't heard from him so I called. Another person in sales said they were on back-order and she'd get them to us in a couple days. It's now 2 weeks since we bought the car. I called and talked to the parts department and they said it would be a few more days before they got them. Waiting for everything is bad enough, but the total lack of communication from this dealership is pathetic. I would not buy another car from this dealership. I have not had to have any service done, but I'm worried how that experience will go. I have read other reviews indicating they have the same lack of customer commitment. I am happy with the car and the price. If they could just focus more on satisfying their customers this would have been a good experience. More

Long story short, they knew the car was not available but got us to come anyways. We confirmed availability of the specific model in advance with an online sales rep (because they don't pick up the phone when you call the direct line), set up an appointment and checked once again right before leaving, to make sure the car we wanted to see wasn't sold. Then drove over an hour only to find out they had lied in an attempt to get us to their dealership to switch us to buying another car. Despite their confirmation and "scheduled" appointment for a test drive, when we arrived the sales rep told us they had sold the car a few days ago, and then asked if we wanted to consider the EV model, which wasn't what we drove 1.5 hours there to see. Very bad experience, I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership. More

After doing my homework, I decided to purchase my first brand new vehicle from Kia. I purchased a 2023 Kia Seltos Nightfall. I was a bag of nerves, but Sales Consultant Codey Jensen made things much easier brand new vehicle from Kia. I purchased a 2023 Kia Seltos Nightfall. I was a bag of nerves, but Sales Consultant Codey Jensen made things much easier on me. Codey informed me about all the current trinkets on today’s vehicles since I quote on quote “am stuck in the 90s”. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions without issue. I highly recommend Codey for a positive car buying experience. I also want to recommend Phil in the financial department. Phil took the time to explain the warranties to me that I honestly would not totally understand otherwise. There’s a lot to read that people could become overwhelmed over when it comes to this, but Phil went above and beyond to offer me a comfortable warranty that would best fit my budge. Phil was not pushy, which was a huge plus at my end. I appreciated his patience. I highly recommend Kia of Canandaigua for your vehicle buying needs. Everyone was kind, patient, not pushy and they let the customer take the lead on what is comfortable for them. This was a memorable moment that I give a huge thumbs up! 😊 More
