Do not purchase a used vehicle from vision kia of Canandaigua. My husband and I purchased a used vehicle and traded in our older vehicle. We'll the kia sadona 2016 that we purchased was a complete lemon. It needed work no less than two months after our purchase, and more and more work needed done after that. At first we brought it to our own mechanic and racked up thousands of dollars in mechanic fees. Then it broke again this time completely didn't run. My husband fixed many different things on his own, wrote down what he did. Brought it to Kia in September of 2033 and we were told they would get it fixed in the next two weeks. That did not happen we got the entire run around day after day months after month. My husband lost his job because he couldn't make it to work, we tried to trade it in a were told it was worth 350$ so we had no choice but to purchase another vehicle 2024. They still had to fix our van which we still owed 14,000 dollars on and it's worth 350$.. absolutely disgusting. After chasing these people down on a regular basis we finally got our van back today March 22 2024. They charged us 4,900$ didn't bother to even clean it or put gas in a vehicle they've had for 7 months. I do not recommend them to anyone. They're the most unprofessional dealership I've ever seen in my life and the better business bureau is being notified. As I see this you do not treat good paying customers the way they have. Was met with a nice hello- and smile from Ashley. My car was taken right in and I was out within the hour. Quick oil change was done and since my free oil changes ended with this one.. My 2022 KIA EV6 GT was in their shop for 33 days. I had heard a loud "pop" and the car was nearly disabled. I described the problem, but instead they called it as a low 12V issue and ordered a new 12 I had heard a loud "pop" and the car was nearly disabled. I described the problem, but instead they called it as a low 12V issue and ordered a new 12V battery. After some days and they couldn't get a battery I found forums talking about a technical service bulletin (TSB271) which perfectly described the problem and said look for an engine code (.....9096). I repeatedly told the service people about this but got a blank stare in response and finally - "no, we didn't see a 9096 code". Finally after 20 days and lots of unreturned calls they opened a "tech line" to KIA Korea saying they did see a 9096 code and KIA Korea told them to order an ICCU assembly and fuse and replace it. Those parts took a few days to show up and then they plugged the car in to charge it. It was left outside overnight to charge - unlocked with the key in the cupholder. And after all this time with them saying the 12V battery was bad - the original battery was left in the car!! The review would have been lower, but for now the car works. So, the problem was fixed but only after a lot of my involvement. Lots of misinformation from the service manager. Very frustrating. I'm a retired engineering manager for a large corporation making complex electromechanical products. I know how a service organization should be run and this isn't it. More
