Taking my car in for service is stressful during these COVID times. Vision Kia makes it easy to check in and check out. My most recent experience was as always top quality. I called on a Tuesday about shaking in my car and was seen the next morning. Poor Service Be careful when it comes to free oil changes. When I visited today to have an oil change on my 2012 Sorento, they told me the drain plug could not be Be careful when it comes to free oil changes. When I visited today to have an oil change on my 2012 Sorento, they told me the drain plug could not be removed because the threads were worn and the entire oil pan needed to be replaced. I was given an estimate of over $300 to change the complete oil pan on the engine. When I suggested this should be replaced for free (since all oil changes were done by Vision), the Service Manager said this is a wear item and I would have to pay for the replacement. I declined the service and took the vehicle home. I was able to remove the drain plug and the threads were stripped, obviously due to over tightening. Luckily, the threads were OK in the oil pan so I spent $1.50 for a new drain plug and changed my own oil. They could have taken responsibility for this issue but decided to try and get more than $300 from me to cover their mistake. More

I drove to the dealership with the hope that I could get someone to just let me know it was safe to drive back and forth to Utica until I could schedule an appointment for service. Not only did they take my car right in, they fixed the issue and upon noticing I was going to need an oil change in next few weeks, they did that as well so I wouldn't have to come back!!! That, my friends, is why I'm on my 4th Kia from Vision! More
