I really like my Kia. I would most likely buy one again, but I feel so scammed by the dealer by for the first time in my life, I bought an extended service package, think I would most likely buy one again, but I feel so scammed by the dealer by for the first time in my life, I bought an extended service package, thinking that I have oil changes and tire rotations for 48,000 miles. Instead, I’m told that I get an oil change every 10,000 miles versus every 5000 or 7500 miles that I think is better for the car, even when you Google it they say 7500 miles for synthetic oil. And then I’m told that I’ve used up all my oil changes in the extended warranty program. This is just one example of getting scammed in buying something that I probably should’ve never bought in the first place or should’ve read the fine print. I also don’t appreciate being told that I have to buy oil additive or fuel additive for a car that is pretty much brand new and I’m getting an oil change to begin with. So why do I need to spend $30 for an oil additive. Another scam. and each time I’ve been in for the last two appointments I’m told that I should have my brakes taken care of. My mechanic told me that I don’t have to touch my brakes yet as they are fine for quite many more miles to go. So two different opinions. And who do I trust not the dealer that sold me a package of extended warranty, where I had to start paying for more stuff to begin with. When I have time, I’m gonna call other Kia dealerships to see if there’s better programs for such things as routine oil changes and other things such as tire rotations that are part of the service like the service I had on my Mazda. I had oil changes for life of that car. on a sidenote, I know there’s not much space for doing much more at your current location as the parking lot is always packed and parking is limited, but that is a challenge to find a parking spot when getting my car serviced.
