Took car in immediately & verified the 12V battery was not defective, passed all tests. Was told car was not being driven frequently enough and resulted in the battery dying. Matthew M. is very dishonest. Last month she came in for a NY state inspection appt. & upon checking in was asked it my husband’s vehicle has tinted windows. Ma is very dishonest. Last month she came in for a NY state inspection appt. & upon checking in was asked it my husband’s vehicle has tinted windows. Matthew stated it will not pass inspection with any tint on the windows. I called my husband and he asked Matthew to check the windows with a tint meter to verify how much light comes thru. Matthew stated they don’t gave a tint meter (it’s actually a requirement for any shop/dealership that does inspections to have a tint meter so it’s pretty foolish for him to lie about that). At that point my husband requested to speak with Matthews manager and then Matthew gave the phone to one of the mechanics/techs who was honest about having a tint meter. Prior to the above incident Matthew M. told me Hyundai is no longer honoring the 10 free oil changes that were part of my signed contract when purchasing my car. He stated they are instead providing free NY state inspection for my vehicle and any other vehicle in my household. Wasn’t expecting to get a bunch of B.S. with the free inspection! More
