In the past I had actually dealt with the other service department at that location associated with Saturn, and EVERY time (4 times) my service would take 3+ days, require me to get a rental, require a par department at that location associated with Saturn, and EVERY time (4 times) my service would take 3+ days, require me to get a rental, require a part to be overnighted and I would have to pay an extra $25, and I even had to bring the vehicle back for the same problem. This time around, I felt very confident even when I dropped the car off that it would be taken care of. The service department kept me apprised of what was going on, and it only took a night to get everything fixed. And I was given a rental car, at no charge where I would otherwise had to pay the previous times. Lastly, it was recommended to me to get my brakes changed, and it was done in such a non-pushy fashion, that I actually wanted to get them done by your dealership. And it only added a few more hours onto my vehicle's stay. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and will recommend to others that if they are looking for a dealership for service, they should go to Bob Hastings Buick GMC. More
Scheduling the appointment was so easy and they were very accommodating. They offer a shuttle service which is nice if you need it. Steven, our sales tech was well informed about our new vehicle. I was very impressed with his patients he had teaching us our vehicle, of which I named DEDE. I was dropping my vehicle off without an appointment and was on my way to work. Our Buick was brought in NYS Inspection, oil change/lube and a problem with the windshield washer pump. We also asked about the wear on the front tires. The inspection was covered by the dealership preferr and a problem with the windshield washer pump. We also asked about the wear on the front tires. The inspection was covered by the dealership preferred owners program. They indicated we could safely wait another several months on the tires, and the washer pump was covered by extended warranty. They were as usual, courteous and professional. A ride home was available while the work was being done. It was a good experience. More
I had a problem on my 2010 Terrain loosing blue tooth connection from my cell phone. Waited 70 minutes until they had a tech that knew about blue tooth that was available. Took 10 minutes to determine that they was nothing that was wrong with the car and that it might be my cell phone that was the problem. They suggested that I should get another cell phone to prove that it wasn't the car. I guess since I don't have another phone that I could use for a couple of months I will just have to reprogram my cell phone to the cars blue tooth every time I loose connection. More
