I was originally scheduled for a routine oil change, but on the way to Hastings a bell went off, something about the steering lite up followed by the engine symbol. Unlike other Service Departments I have worked with over the years, I find Bob Hastings to be SUPERIOR above all the rest in the Rochester area. The professionalism, knowledge, communications with the customer throughout the process and caring of the Service Consultants is very much appreciated. I have chosen to rate the service dept. exceptionally high because it is extremely reliable and remembers things from one visit to the next. That is not just due to having a computer on hand. It is also true that the experience is more like going to a local, "hometown mechanic down at the 4 corners," than a dealership.........you just know the car will get fixed properly.... so there ya go More

Needed an oil change and tire rotation. Main repair issue was transmission warranty service, which was done (apparently) well. A loaner car was provided which was a big help. There was a bit of confusion over what additional 50K services shou which was done (apparently) well. A loaner car was provided which was a big help. There was a bit of confusion over what additional 50K services should be taken care of as this was a Saturn Aura (discontinued), but overall I was very satisfied with the friendliness and quality of work done. I just went in for a oil change, and Michelle has awsome customer service skill, that are unmatched. I am a Paramedic and i thinki learned something from her today. When I walked into the Service Department, the woman at the first desk on the right did not acknowledge me. I walked to the gentleman straight ahead (Jim?)and asked for Jerry and was directed to the next the first desk on the right did not acknowledge me. He was engaged in a conversation with another employee that sounded like they were discussing some sort of personal issue. I was not greeted by Jerry at all. He then grabbed my paperwork and headed out to my car to get the mileage. When he came back I looked at him and said, "Good Morning Jerry!" and he finally did greet me. This is not my idea of great customer service. When I am in Florida for the winter, I take my car in for maintenance servicing and they couldn't be nicer. More
Made my appmt. online and requested next day work for 11am. Got a email response right back letting me know request was submitted. They fit me in at the time I requested and after my inspection and oi 11am. Got a email response right back letting me know request was submitted. They fit me in at the time I requested and after my inspection and oil change etc.. was done and needed brakes they kept it there and got it back to me that by 3:30 pm. I took advantage of the shuttle service as well and the driver was very friendly and it was his first day. Michelle greets me by name every time I enter and is always very friendly. I feel like I am not getting ripped off there and feel like they are trustworthy. I know it costs a bit more for repairs there b/c it is a dealership but it is worth it. I am very happy with the service I have received. More
