horrible ... liars and cheats Typical car salesman, will say and do anything to sell a car and won't stand behind their promises or warranty. Worse mistake ever to deal with them. I'm on my third VW and didn't buy any of from Vision VW, and it's only a few miles from my home. I always go there first because it's the closest, and I never have a good experience. In 2008 I was out to and it's only a few miles from my home. I always go there first because it's the closest, and I never have a good experience. In 2008 I was out to buy a new Jetta. The arrogant salesman spent more time telling me what a great value the car was priced at as explanation for not taking anything off the price of the car AND totally lowballed what they would give for the 2005 Colorado truck we were trading for it. It was unreal. So we hit the road and ended up at York VW. Through a dealer trade they found us the car we wanted, color, exact features, and put alloy wheels on it for less then Vision was trying to sell me and gave us $3000 more on the trade. Last week we went out to get a new 2012 Jetta. We started at Vision. The salesman tried to prep up for the awful "deal" we would be offered by telling us a story twice about a guy who recently bought a GTI, traded for a truck, then tried to trade the truck for the GTI again and was so in the hole because the vehicles depreciated. I told him we had done our homework but forgot the paperwork. I looked up the true marked value for the car I was there to purchase, a Jetta S Manual w/sunroof, and the trade in value for my car, a loaded Auto 2011 Ford Fusion with 7000 miles on it. I told him the websites I got the info from, that he could look at the same. I told him we were looking to get an even trade. After speaking with his sales manager the new car was offered at a fair price $18100, but they completely loballed the trade again at $14500. We told him nevermind, that we were insulted and left. The guy didn't hear a word we said, and I guess didn't even care to. We did our homework and told him what were were looking to do so we didn't have to waste time negotiating back and forth. We bout the Fusion that way in Coatesville. It took minutes to make the deal. I don't understand why all dealerships or car salespersons don't operate like that. A week or so later we went to Jeff D'Ambrosio VW in Downingtown and drove home smiling in a new Jetta. From my experiences with Vision, they don't want to sell cars. They're service department isn't any more customer savvy either. The old VW had some issues that were covered under warranty and they would give me a hard time about getting a loaner while my car was there for days. Sometimes they would tell me to pick my car up and bring it back in a day or so when the parts arrive. They just don't get it. I tell everyone not to go to Vision. You'll save thousands of dollars going elsewhere. More
I leased my first new car at Vision and I had a great experience! The sales person was very nice and not high pressure at all. He listened to what I wanted, and even emailed several options with the pay experience! The sales person was very nice and not high pressure at all. He listened to what I wanted, and even emailed several options with the payment breakdowns the next day. They gave me a fair trade in on my car, and were very efficient with the paperwork. He took the time to show me all the new features of my car and answered all of my questions. Previous visits to other various dealerships were not a positive experience for me. There was lots of waiting around, high pressure sales, and mistakes. But Vision is much different and I highly recommend them! More
I bought a new car with Vision back in 2008. The experience left a sour taste in my mouth as I felt I was treated rather poorly, especially for someone investing so much money in a new vehicle. A ye experience left a sour taste in my mouth as I felt I was treated rather poorly, especially for someone investing so much money in a new vehicle. A year later I was T-Boned by a truck and took my car to Vision to have the body work done. Overall I would say the work was above average but it took far longer than estimated and I had to return it later on to get my trim strip reattached. Recently I went to look at buying a used vehicle from Vision and the salesman kept insisting I look at vehicles that I was not interested in, even after I told him the type of car I was looking for. Needless to say I had my mind set on a used car but the price was far to high, it was almost the price of a new car of the same model. So I walked away. The next few weeks I kept receiving phone calls and letters about coming in to look at the other cars that I didn't want. I ended up going to Garnet Volkswagen an hour from my home and finding splendid service and a much fairer price on the same car. More
