Service department is a joke I called the service department to schedule a appointment for a recall on my 2008 Jeep Commander. They told me that they have the recall part and they I called the service department to schedule a appointment for a recall on my 2008 Jeep Commander. They told me that they have the recall part and they scheduled my appointment for the next available appointment for the following Saturday at 11 am. I brought it in on Saturday around 1030am and after waiting 15 minutes in the service department someone finally came to the counter to help me. I told him I have a 11:00 appointment for a recall. He looked at the recall notice then made a call to the parts department. Then he told me that they didn't have the part in stock and that the recall is a first come first serve type thing. I was so pissed off because I made this appoint over a week ago and drove a hour to get to this dealer. He told me to keep calling everyday tell the part comes in. I left the place with my blood pressure though the roof! I decided to pull over and call Chrysler Corporation to tell them what just happened at the dealership. They told me that the service department was wrong by doing this to me. They said as long as I had a appointment the part should have been saved for me. They took down my complaint and apologized for what Vann Doge had done. They then put me on hold to find me another Jeep dealer in my area that had the part and made me a appointment with them. Tomorrow I bring it in to get the work done at another dealership. I also wanted to add that while at Vann Dodge there was one guy before me with a appointment that simply wanted a key programmed and they told him he at least has a 1 1/2 hour wait. WOW! I will never return to this place again! More
