false information i spent an hour on the phone with Dianne receiving very specific information that i verified with her several different ways. we only spoke about on i spent an hour on the phone with Dianne receiving very specific information that i verified with her several different ways. we only spoke about one single vehicle, the durango SRT (this is important later). the specific starting price, the total incentives and the resulting figures were all established using real numbers. ...i also called lilliston dodge and spoke with a Julio who said he could not touch that deal and that i should go with them if the deal was real. he predicted that it would turn to smoke when i got there. once at the dealership, she was unavailable, but mike barse was there and we spoke of the vehicle. everyone was nice. i brought up the numbers that she had quoted me and, while he didnt state any false numbers, he assured me that we could make those numbers work. i wasted the better part of the day there: they found the version i wanted and everything was ready to go. when we got to the actual numbers, all of the information that she had given me turned out to be completely false. if she had made a mistake, this would still be a poor review due to lack of quality job performance, but i understand that mistakes happen. instead, she stated that she did remember our call and that she did not suggest the numbers reflected in the notes i had taken in real time on the phone. she stammered plenty and said we must have been speaking of a different vehicle. these statements were blatant lies. you may get a better number from them on the phone, but i would rather deal with honest people. next time i will call Julio at lilliston dodge who was honest enough to say he couldn't beat their (fake) number. my previous attempt at this review seems to have disappeared. i am sorry if it has posted twice.
