My husband and I brought my Forester in to get it fixed in the service dept. While we were there, we looked at options to upgrade. At the end of the day, it was ok that we couldn't get approved right now in the service dept. While we were there, we looked at options to upgrade. At the end of the day, it was ok that we couldn't get approved right now to upgrade. However, what wasn't ok, was that the sales person Tim left us sitting at his desk for nearly 45 minutes while in the managers office, but didn't bother to come back and check on us or anything until my car was ready. It was at that time I told my husband that we would just go to Nissan (who btw offers a limited lifetime warranty on all their vehicles they sell), because at least there I felt like i was welcomed with open arms. At Subaru, I felt like because my credit wasn't perfect, they didn't want to have anything to do with me. It is all about the numbers to them, not the way they treat their customers who I kight add are the reason they are in business. What they tried showing me was a used car they had taken the day prior with over 108k miles and no warranty. I'm at the dealership already because I have no warranty, you'd have thought they wanted to put me into something safe at least. Anyway, I won't be referring anyone to the sales dept of Subaru, but Alejandro in the service dept was definitely wanting to make sure we were safe and cared about us as people, so thank you for that at least. Not once have I had any problems especially with service. They take care of me each and every time and explain what was done, what might need to be done in future visits and do it with a smile.
