In one word: scam. I had been warned about the dirty filter trick (which I always have replaced anyway) but they hit me with a $1200 proposed bill when I came in for a simple oil change. This is after getting a full tuneup from a trusted Toyota service department before a move. When I refused the other proposed services after being charged $106 for an oil and filter change (what?!), I came out to see a mechanic using YouTube to work on my car. Did I go to an official Toyota dealership or someone’s backyard? It was ridiculous. I am really upset that this dealership would try to scam me like I was born yesterday. They can kiss your butt all they want but it doesn’t mean you aren’t getting screwed. I chose this dealership based on the reviews only to find it to be the worst service experience of my life and I have been having vehicles serviced for over 20 years. More
