Misrepresentation I live approximately 100 miles from the dealership. I spoke with 3 different people at the dealership about an advertised used 4Runner and told each o I live approximately 100 miles from the dealership. I spoke with 3 different people at the dealership about an advertised used 4Runner and told each of them where I live. The people I spoke to included a salesperson, the general sales manager and the internet sales manager. I was told by the general sales manager that the vehicle was very very clean, that it had been the personal vehicle of the general manager's husband and that I wouldn't be disappointed with it. Based on those representations, I put down a deposit on the vehicle and made the 2 1/4 hr. drive to the dealership. What I found was a vehicle with badly scratched, gouged, chipped and peeling paint on the exterior, split, dry and rough leather on the interior. When I pointed out a broken part to the internet sales manager he responded that the part is broken in all 4Runners of that generation. Before putting down the deposit and making a special trip to the dealership, I had asked the general sales manager if the timing belt had been replaced on the vehicle in accordance with the recommended maintenance schedule. I was told that it had been, even though that work did not show up on the Carfax or on the Toyota Owner's website, each of which referenced the VIN for the vehicle and showed other work done on it. At the dealership, a printout was produced that was said to show replacement of the timing belt by the dealership. However, it appeared to me that it referred to a 4 cyl and the 4Runner had an 8 cyl motor. Also, there was no sticker under the hood indicating replacement of the timing belt. I am informed by my mechanic and internet research that it is the usual and customary practice to complete and attach such a sticker when the belt is replaced and that the sticker comes with the timing belt kit. Had it actually been replaced on this vehicle? Perhaps, but I am skeptical. In conclusion, I have had only one experience with this dealership but it did involve 2 managers. I would suggest being extremely wary of any representations made by employees of this dealership, at least in connection with a used vehicle. More

I came back and was finished easily in the promised time frame. More

He goes out of his way to help me and take time with me. He tells me when he is leaving for lunch and gives me an estimate of when he'll be back and when my service will be completed. He even used some kind of "magic" cleaner to rub out some marks on my car--did it himself. More

Their service department fixed a broken trunk lid closer bar on an Avalon which required the personnel to crawl into and be closed in the trunk to complete the repair. They have also replaced (gratis) a leaking shock on the RAV4 missed during their all point inspection. That was done after initial warranty had expired and through the efforts of Dennis Perry. Replaced battery on the RAV4 when service manager beat the price I was quoted from another source. All in all, Weiss has done its best to resolve all of the issues I have had except being able to reprogram the locks on the RAV4 which the factory says can't be done. Thanks for the great service you've given over the past 5 years. More

Great service Brought my car in early to drop off for a state inspection, although I had an appointment scheduled for later that afternoon. My service advisor, Prinz Villar not only said they could have it done in about 20 minutes if I could wait, after he determined that I only needed an emissions inspection and not a full safety inspection. Excellent service and saved me money! Always a pleasure to work with him. More
