On July 11, 2024, I experienced a deeply upsetting incident while trying to get my car’s air conditioning system repaired. The initial problem began on June 4, 2024, when my car started blowing hot air. I took my vehicle to Victory Subaru, where they charged me $269.99 to check for leaks and install refrigerant. I specifically asked them to ensure that both the compressor and condenser were in good condition. They assured me that there were no issues and that I shouldn’t worry. I stressed the importance of a permanent fix because I didn’t want a temporary solution. I also mentioned that this is my first car, and I am very passionate about it. Additionally, I informed them that my parents were visiting in July and I wanted the car to be in perfect condition. Having trusted their service for the past three years with my 2014 Subaru Forester, I expected better. On July 11, 2024, while inspecting the vehicle, the technician at Victory Subaru caused the compressor to burst, releasing the refrigerant. After this incident, they told me I needed to replace the compressor, quoting me approximately $1800 for the repair. I argued that the compressor burst during their inspection, not due to my negligence. I had stopped using the AC as soon as it started blowing hot air and went to them immediately. Despite this, the head of service became hostile and rude, making the experience even more painful. Over the past four months, I have visited Victory Subaru at least five times, each visit costing a minimum of $500. It was shocking to be treated so unprofessionally, especially since I always take my vehicle to a certified Subaru service center and have a three-year relationship with them. Whenever I have doubts or ask genuine questions about my car’s issues, they give ambiguous answers and use technical jargon to stall me. I believed my car was in trusted hands, but this experience has been a bitter and hard lesson. Ultimately, I had to leave without getting my vehicle fixed. I have officially lodged a complaint with Subaru of America to investigate this matter. I hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call to improve their service standards and customer care. More

Overall I had a good experience. Came in looking for outback XT limited, test drove it the day before, and came back the next day to talk numbers, about the car and my trade-in. At first, they did try to give me a lower number on my trade-in, but I told them I was looking for a specific number based on the trade-in quotes I already received from other dealers like Audi/BMW/Carvana. Without too much hustle they did meet the number I wanted. Just as with any dealership need to keep an eye on dealer add-ons, they are not bad, but also not everyone may catch on to them. With that said they removed them per my request without any issues. I worked with Robert Kelliher he was very calm not pushy, and a pleasure to work with, all the paperwork was done quickly and I was on my way with a new Outback within 2 hours. Robert showed me the service area and even helped to schedule 1st maintenance. Definitely a positive experience for being my first Subaru. More

What started as a brief email exchange turned into a smooth experience. We were contacted immediately, but never felt pressured. Bobby B. took care of us with patience and exceptional knowledge about the Forester and the various trims; even the nuances of options between them, which we especially appreciated. This made it easy to settle on a choice. While negotiating is never the fun part of the experience, Chris never made us feel pressured into settling. There was 'give and take,' and we were satisfied with the result. We look forward to a longtime relationship with Victory Subaru and expect this will not be our last purchase.
