The Sales manager took his time to work with finance companies finding me the best deals, and gave me a print out to look at with all my finances option so I could choose which was a better fit for me. Satisfied with car, we went in to discuss and negotiate price. We agreed on price, then off to meet with Tabatha, Finance Mgr. All went well and we are very satisfied. Deceptive practices I have bought many cars and dread the process. I was hoping for a better experience this time. I went in prepared with my financing pre-approved with I have bought many cars and dread the process. I was hoping for a better experience this time. I went in prepared with my financing pre-approved with Bank of America so I would not have to deal with the dealership financing. I decided that I wanted a Nissan Rogue. I went to five different dealerships and then went online to Costco's site and filled out a request there. I was contacted by Micheal Jarman, a salesman from Action Nissan. He offered me the best price on the Rogue, $23,800 out the door, with the assurance that the car I wanted would be detailed, gassed up and waiting for me in front of the dealership when I arrived (we talked 3 hours before I arrived). The car was not ready and waiting in front as promised but that was not a big deal. We test drove it, liked it and wanted to get the paperwork done and get home (over 1 1/2 hours away). Micheal had told me it would take about an hour. Three hours later we were still sitting in the waiting room. I had handed Micheal the letter from my bank to process the financing and he went back to the financing office. After a wait he came out and asked me if I would like to save and additional $250 and get a lower rate if I applied for Nissan Financing. I told him if it would save me $250 and get me a lower rate I would (against my better judgment). I got approved and, tired and hungry, 3 1/2 hours after our arrival I signed the paperwork and we went home. The next morning as I was about the file the paperwork I noticed that the "additional" $250 I was to save was on the dealer's side of the deal and that the dealership, not me, got the $250 rebate. I was paying the same price that I would have if I had stuck with my Bank of America financing. I thought it was a mistake and called, Michael and he was a different person. No more nice salesmen. He basically said that since I did not catch it that it was to bad. At the end of the long, very bad conversation he asked what I wanted them to do and I told him to either give me the $250 I was promised or cancel the Nissan financing and put it on my Bank of America. He said he would do the latter. Well, much to my surprise (sarcasm) they did neither and I have never heard another word from the dealer. Turns out it was not a mistake but typical car dealer deception. It is dealerships like Action Nissan that will make sure car dealer continue to have bad reputations. Maybe they should have to be licensed so they can be forced to have some accountability for their actions. My lesson is that you get what you pay for. I would have rather spent a bit more on the car and had quality customer service and honesty. More

Great Experience I was surprised at how I was treated and the price they were able to provide after dealing with other local Nissan dealers. They beat the others in price by almost $900 and had the cheapest Doc fees. Jon was very helpful and not pushy. He wanted to help me find the right car for me and not 'up sell' me on something I didn't want or need. Refreshing! More
