$4,000 "because we can" fee, over 13% of the vehicle's price. I've been working with a dealer near home that doesn't charge over MSRP but, due to Honda's processes that appear to reward dealers for markups, my dealer did not receive my car, despite my having put in (and paid for) a reservation a month ago. I wrote to many dealerships all over the state, and this dealership has recently been slated to receive TWO of the exact vehicle I'm looking for. The General Manager refused to even have a discussion about the markup. When I wrote to confirm that they, in fact, were unwilling to negotiate, they simply didn't reply (this is the reason for my "poor" customer service rating). Obviously, a car dealership is a business and is out to make money. But, walking away from a conversation simply because they know someone else will pay whatever they ask tells me it isn't just about honest business making a fair profit for a service provided. It's about extracting as much money as possible from the customer just up to the point that they might complain about it, and then staying just under that. If the tables were turned and Honda randomly sent them twenty of the vehicle on the last day of the month, that $4,000 upcharge would be gone immediately, and even a discount applied, to move the inventory and hit targets. I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I can wait on my local dealer to finally get the car I ordered, even though that will end up costing me more (but still not $4,000) in an interest rate increase. This dealership's customers are getting hit with both rising rates and these fees because they need a vehicle. Interesting how it wasn't all that long ago that dealers were begging for customers, discounting, and doing whatever they could to move inventory. Memories are short, apparently. More

We had a small mix-up with the paper work this last go around and the girls in the office were so quick to get it fix and very friendly with a positive attitude. I could not even be upset because they were so quick and on top of what needed to be fixed. My sales person Roy was so helpful and not pushy at all. I've also dealt with their service department and they are so pleasant. I usually deal with Ray and DJ both whom have always treated me very well and are both so helpful. I will continue to buy all my cars from this dealership. I love going in for my service appointments and watching the employee's interact with each other and smile to everyone that walks past. Also the donuts and snazzy coffee machine helps too. I highly encourage anyone looking for a vehicle to check Victory Honda out. More
Poor Initial Service with Positive Outcome I brought my car into this location in the month of August with approximately 90K requesting a thorough check-up of all vital components of the car in I brought my car into this location in the month of August with approximately 90K requesting a thorough check-up of all vital components of the car in anticipation of a upcoming roadtrip. I provided a budget of approximately $800. I figured that since I was getting work done at a dealership I may pay more but it would be quality work (not true for this encounter). First, when providing a list of what required attention on my car, the staff did not notice that my front right tire was flat with a nail in it (something I had known beforehand). Also, my brakes were never mentioned - this will come up later. The bill was $880 for exchanging fluids and other minor procedures. on 10/16 my car was overheating from a coolant leak. I added more coolant and kept it going. In early November, I decided to get my oil changed at Motorcars Honda in Cleveland. They told me that I not only had a cracked engine block but also that my brakes had been 85-90% worn down. Victory Honda gave my brake pads "satisfactory" pass just two months earlier with a visual inspection. Therefore, my complaint is that my car did not receive a comprehensive examination. I voiced my dissatisfaction regarding their work and the additional expenses that I would incur to Ray. At first, it seemed as though this issue was not going to be resolved. However, Ray took responsibility for the negligence of the staff on that day and rectified the situation appropriately. 1. I suggest not going here for repairs if you have very little knowledge about your car and car maintenance. It is best to come prepared as much as possible. 2. If you do go here with little insight about your vehicle, ask that they document more thoroughly than their color coded ratings for problems with the car. For example, have them document exactly how many millimeters are left on your breaks. Their vague rating system could protect them from being accountable for providing unsatisfactory service. More

When I bought the car I was promised they would fix a door that would barely shut, as well as fix scratches that were on the rear of the car. Along with these problems I was told the dealership would purchase me a front license plate holder, so that they would not ruin my front bumper by just screwing in the license plate right to the bumper. Also when I bought the car, the service department put tire shine on my tires which stained the front and back bumpers. I immediately made an appointment to get not only the passenger doors fixed as promised, the scratches fixed as promised and the tire shine removed for their mistake. I also stated that they were supposed to order a license plate holder for me, that my tps monitoring light was on, that the car had a weird screeching noise when pressing on the gas, backing up and turning sometimes. The service manager Ray made notes of all this in the computer for me and at first seemed very helpful. When I brought my car in for all of this, no one had any idea what they were supposed to be doing to my car. I had to verbally tell them all of this, which service guy DJ said ok I got it. Two days later they finished the car and no service guy was there when I picked it up for it was past 7pm. The receptionist said there was no paperwork. When I got to the car I noticed the bumpers were fixed from the tire shine, they buffed out one scratch, not the other, the license plate was not on, the door seemed fixed, and the screeching was still there. I called the next morning and made another appointment to fix what they didn't fix. When I brought my car in the next time to fix the remaining issues, I spoke with DJ. I asked him if they got the holder in for my license plate. He said yes. I waited 1.5 hours this visit for them to tell me the scratch they left was not able to buffed out (mind you this scratch was less than the other scratch they magically did buff out), and also the license plate was screwed into the bumper. The service guys lied to my face. Needless to say I now have a one month old car that screeches and a ruined bumper. I also now have to hire a lawyer. More

Did very costly service timing belt replacement ($1400). Did not (or could not) provide the worn parts when I asked for them. This is a clear violation of Ohio State law - pursuing a formal complaint with Did not (or could not) provide the worn parts when I asked for them. This is a clear violation of Ohio State law - pursuing a formal complaint with the Ohio Attorney General. The dealer I bought the car said they talked to Victory Service Mgr and Victory said the belt was Ok. Victory mgr called them a liar. Victory service was rude. Intrinsically dishonest. Operate blatantly outside the law. More
