I bought a nice car from Veterans last year but the service they offer is terrible. I went to have a tire replaced because I purchased road hazard and the best warranty package they had. When I took my service they offer is terrible. I went to have a tire replaced because I purchased road hazard and the best warranty package they had. When I took my car in,, I told the service advisor, I had plugged the tire in the side wall and it needed to be replaced. I ubered home because they said it woukd take 5 hours. Had a family member drop me off to get my car several hours later and It was returned to me with a patch in the side wall and the existing plug I had put in it. So, had to argue with svc department before they admitted my tire should've been replaced. When I got my car back with the new didn't even have a valve stem cover. My cars a 2020 Explorer limited. It was there for 2 days for the tire and It has 2 recalls, one for safety. Noone even mentioned it. I wasted a ton of money buying the warranty and lost an entire day of work. Veterans ford service department is not worth your time and effort. The service departments disregard for its customers safety is inacceptable and the tremendous effort the GM and Sales Manager put into resolving my issue was met by a group of service people that simply do nor care. :-( They had me go to uhaul for a hitch scheduled by ford and then said I had to go after uhaul for damage caused to my car but the paperwork was under their name. There has been no attempt to compensate me properly. More
Best customer service in the Service Department. Very pleased with Carter as our Service Advisor. He went above and beyond to help us. He had an issue with a recall and he made sure my truck was fixed ri pleased with Carter as our Service Advisor. He went above and beyond to help us. Best Service I've Ever Had from a Dealership I've always hated dealerships for service because they force you to deal with a pushy, unkowledgeable salesperson instead of a mechanic. Not only did Veterans Ford not try and up-sell me every stupid, useless service imaginable, they were perfectly ok when I said I wanted to wait on certain services. Huh? It's like the Narnia of dealership service departments. They also seemed knowledgeable and happy to be working there. My first trip I was confused because I was treated like a human being, you could have conversations with them instead of just them talking at you. Sadly my car was totaled and my needs have changed (minivan), so I went with a Honda. I have a service contract with it, or else I would have no problem bringing it to Veterans Ford for service. More
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VEHICLES My vehicles battery went out, they told me I have 10 minutes to get to their location from West Tampa or they are not able to change my battery until My vehicles battery went out, they told me I have 10 minutes to get to their location from West Tampa or they are not able to change my battery until Thursday morning at 8am. Spoke to the MANAGER MATT and he told me there is NOTHING he can do to help me and his hands are tied. I asked him to use a loner vehicle until tomorrow morning that my vehicle is ready. He told me no. He told me there is nothing he can do with a horrible attitude. He said we live in Florida and this stuff happens because of the heat. He continuously says that “his hands are tied, he can’t do anything until tomorrow, and that’s final” how are you supposed to do business with a company like this? They said I have no option but to get my vehicle towed here and get done in the morning. When I mention the LEMON LAW he wants to tell me that I can call roadside assistance and they will tow me and take me to and from work in their shuttle. This is completely unacceptable and I am VERY DISSATISFIED WITH FORD IN GENERAL. Every time I have dealt with ford they have a excuse on why they can’t do anything to help me and the managers have xxxxTY ATTITUDES. This is the LAST time I will walk into Ford for any reason at all. More
This last visit was rough I came in for a rotation and balance but was told I didnt need a balance and only received a rotation. When I went to leave the lot I still had a tire sensor issue warning on my dash and had to immediately turn around and go back inside to explain the light was on (apparently this service center doesnt notice check lights on the dash) Turns out I needed a new sensor which meant more waiting and of course more money. Whatever, now I was late and had to leave. I took the truck home, hopped in my car and didnt drive the truck until I needed to haul some gear a few days later. As soon as I took it out on the vets and got around 60 the steering wheel (and whole truck) started shaking violently. I turned around and took it to the service center where I had to schedule a visit a few days later. Finally I get there and they tell me what? That's right, "It needs a balance." Well no xxxx sherlock thats why I brought it in to begin with. (sarcastic clap) way to go. Anyway, normally this place gets me in and out no issues but this last fiasco was a mess. Also the employees I'm selecting in this survey may not have anything to do with this mess. I just had to select one or two to finish the form. I cant remember anyones names. More
Service was very friendly Just went in for an oil change. The works. It was supposedly going to take about 1.5 hours but was done in less than an hour. Only complain I have is that the final price was different from advertised. It said that it was supposed to be $39.95 without taxes but it came up to about $46 without taxes. Didn't see at first since is my first time there. More
Did not perform work that they charged me for. Usually have good service here it is more expensive than going to other mechanics generally but usually have a good experience.
