We purchased a 2013 Malibu last spring. Ron Sloan was our salesman. Ron made us feel comfortable whenever we visited the showroom. The Malibu was a new concept and Ron answered all our questions. If he didn't know the answers, he immediately did the research. We have had the Malibu for a little over a year and love it. Now that camping season is coming, we knew we needed a truck with a little more power than our 2000 S10. We called Ron and got in to see him right away. We told Ron what we needed in a truck. He searched the northeast area and found a truck with our specs and had it delivered to CT. We went to Florida for a brief vacation. When we got back, our new truck was waiting for us with the additional specs we requested installed. Needless to say, we are as happy with the truck as we are with the Malibu. Looking forward to camping season with our new Silverado. Ron was easy to work with and we would recommend him to our friends who might be looking for a new vehicle. More

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Carter! We worked with Kay Doherty online prior to stopping in to the dealership. We were new to Connecticut and had just recently purchased a Mazda from a dif worked with Kay Doherty online prior to stopping in to the dealership. We were new to Connecticut and had just recently purchased a Mazda from a different dealership that failed to install our navigation system as they had promised to do. Kay immediately connected us with her service department, and they agreed to do the install for us at no charge! Other dealerships were going to charge us upwards of $500 to install a piece of equipment we had already purchased - but not Carter. We ended up stopping in to get the part installed and look for a pre-owned car. Rather than sell us a used car that slightly pushed our budget, Kay came up with a new idea - leasing a brand new Mazda that fit our budget exactly. She could have pushed us for a sale, but she didn't - she knew that I was not going to be driving often and thought that a leased car would be a better fit for my needs, and she was right! We left completely satisfied that day. Not only was Kay wonderful, but Lisa, the sales manager, was amazing as well. She handled some out-of-state paperwork that needed to be done and did everything possible to ensure that we were leaving happy that day. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is searching for a casual, comfortable, no-pressure car buying experience. More
I was in mass when my silverado broke down I had it towed to a chevy dealer in west springfield they called me about 2 hours later to tell me that something went wrong in one of my cylinders and since my tr to a chevy dealer in west springfield they called me about 2 hours later to tell me that something went wrong in one of my cylinders and since my truck had over 100,000 miles they cant rebuild it the only thing i could do was put a new motor in the truck at a cost of 7,000-7,500 dollars so i called the dealer i bought the truck from explained to them the situation they said they would get back to me and never did my next call was to carter chevrolet and got ray who i now believe is the best service advisor around he went way above and beyond what anyone else was willing to do he not only checked into a new motor for my truck (carter chevrolet price was 5,500-6,000 for the same motor)but also made numerous phone calls to try to find me a used motor cheaper all before i got the truck to his shop so i had the truck towed to carter the next day expecting to have them put a new motor in it my truck got to carter about an hour before i could get there when i got there they already had my truck in the shop ray told me that he thinks its a lifter not something major and he was right they did all the lifters and a few maint things for way less than the price of a motor and the truck is running great that was 4 months and about 6,000 miles ago i would recommend if you ever need service to call ray he is the best at what he does and my truck and cars will be serviced at carter chevrolet from now on Thanks to Ray and the tech that worked on my truck............................................................................
