Kid Friendly Dealership! I am a typical woman who loves the experience that comes along with shopping. Every other time I have purchased vehicles from other dealerships I have I am a typical woman who loves the experience that comes along with shopping. Every other time I have purchased vehicles from other dealerships I have been straight up lied to about a vehicle having cruise control (it didn’t) and told to look in the manual (*eyeroll*), among other unpleasant experiences. Needless to say I haven’t enjoyed car shopping before… Well, Jonathan Hatwan is officially my new car shopping BFF! I specifically asked for a white Traverse with heated seats and a couple other random features within a specific price range. The very first vehicle he showed me was perfect in every way. I additionally had my eight month old daughter along and he did not hesitate about putting her car seat in and taking her along for the test drive so my husband could come, too. My husband purchased a truck from Jon last year, and when we came back down it was like visiting an old friend. It goes without saying, any time we are in the market we will be coming back to Vern Eide to see Jon! Now onto the finance part… We interacted with Trent Hennagir. In general, there are many “upsell” options at the point of financing. After having a discussion with Trent he actually recommended a specific package to cover “excessive wear and tear” on our lease based on the condition of my trade in vehicle (kids, I tell ya!). Prior finance officers have tried to talk me into packages that were above and beyond my needs, but I appreciated the thought that Trent put into providing a recommendation without overwhelming me with the details of the other packages. Thanks to everyone at Vern Eide for working as a great team, being kid friendly, and making car shopping fun! More
